The alternative would be catastrophic. Fetterman has a good heart and at least is genuine. There are currently individuals in Congress who have suffered strokes. He is having difficulty with speech, it's true. Fetterman stopped at or before the bell, going over by two or three words a couple times, while Oz went over the time limit many times and interrupted at least three. Fetterman interrupted once. Oz is used to spitting out over 200 words in 30 seconds, selling his snake oil. Fetterman can hammer his point out perfectly in a situation where there are no time constraints, and he has time to gather his thoughts. Since there is no sense of urgency or time constraints in any branch of government to get things done, Fetterman should be a tremendous asset in the Senate, where he can take his time to express his ideas.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I have similar issues and I can tell you that it is not. I watched some of the interviews he's given recently, and he actually didn't have much trouble at all. I think he was extremely nervous. The adrenaline must have made his problems worse. I am just so heartbroken for him and hope that he can recover emotionally from this. I feel like he is being abused, and I sincerely hope he makes a full recovery.

Agreed. As a Floridian, I would have preferred this format for the gubernatorial debate. The audience in that debate was a huge distraction, especially Charlie Crist supporters. Best debate questions I have ever seen. No softball questions, just straight to the point relevant questions. The interviewers were fair to each candidate and had control throughout the debate.
How is it fair when the moderators say "there will be no personal responses/rebuttals in this section" and then they let Fetterman respond to a personal comment but not Oz? That's the opposite of fair, stroke or not.
I'm for OZ but I also sincerely feel for John Fetterman and hope he has a full recovery. It was sad to see his opening statement and witness the lack of mental faculties. He should drop out of this race and spend time with loved ones.

Its not comedy. This isn't funny, unless you're a sociopath with zero regard for the harm this is causing people in Pennsylvania. The alternative would be catastrophic. Fetterman has a good heart and at least is genuine. There are currently individuals in Congress who have suffered strokes. Since there is no sense of urgency or time constraints in any branch of government to get things done, Fetterman should be a tremendous asset in the Senate, where he can take his time to express his ideas.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I have similar issues and I can tell you that it is not. I watched some of the interviews he's given recently, and he actually didn't have much trouble at all. I think he was extremely nervous. The adrenaline must have made his problems worse. I am just so heartbroken for him and hope that he can recover emotionally from this. I feel like he is being abused, and I sincerely hope he makes a full recovery.

I think we all feel quite sorry for Fetterman now and the compassionate thing is for him to take care of himself. I haven't been able to, when he speaks of "socialized healthcare". The media however just went on and on about how Fetterman was fine and covered for him, and blamed the interviewer for trying to make him look bad.
