I’m so glad that I found your channel! I’ve been vegetarian since I was 15 & I am almost 26 now. I’ve been wanting so badly to transition to a vegan diet since having a baby last year but I am just so used to using dairy&eggs in my meals. After watching a few of your videos, I for once think I got this down & can actually transition finallllly🌟
Your videos inspire me like *no other* when it comes to cooking. I can definitely get into a recipe rut, and sometimes I'm honestly okay with that because I just don't have the creative energy to exert into my meals that week, but then I watch a video of yours and I think, "Oh my gosh, I want to try so many of these recipes! Get me in the kitchen!". I love that your cozy channel is the perfect balance of nutritious while also being tasty.

I like watercress sandwiches with kitehill cream cheese and hummus/tabouli wraps with veggies and avocado. So addictive.
I love to add banana peppers or pickled zesty green beans to my wraps with hummus

My absolute favorite thing from TJs is their tamari rice crackers. You get 36 or so in a serving (I don’t count, but in case you do). They’re crunchy and salty and savory. So so so good !!!

We actually had potato salad at a vegan restaurant that was pink. Their pink potato salad was made with beets, and it had this sweet tangy flavor. It was one of our favorites. I never would have thought to add beets to potato salad, but I really loved the flavor and the pink color. :-)

@@NikkiVegan I loved it! The meatless breakfast patties are great you should definitely try them. I also got meatless orange chicken but I have yet to try it. Oh.. and LOTS of chocolate!!!
I love potato salad! Yum! We drive an hour and wait outside to go to tj! I've been putting the everything bagel seasoning on my salads 😆. I also love their vegan garlic dip!

I wish Trader Joe's was closer to me it's like a 45-minute drive lol. So I've never been. I never thought to use hummus in the chickpea salad I'll have to try that. Also that potato looks so delicious.
I wish we had Trader Joe’s in Canada.... one day when the border opens I will do a major haul and say hi to our American friends. Take care everyone.

Thanks! I went through a no oil phase a few years ago but I've since learned more about nutrition (I have a certification in plant based nutrition now) and I've learned that some fat is important and nothing to fear ☺️☺️ Definitely not an expert but it works for me! Glad you can relate!

Love these videos! Please please consider doing an Aldi version. They have really upped their vegan options and are much cheaper for those of us on tight budgets 💕

sometimes I wish that I was American so that I could go to Trader Joes... but other times I wish that Trader Joes would make the trip to Canada
I'm American and I've never been to one. Would love to go to one. Would have to travel about 30 minutes or two hours to get to one. lol.

I love their hummus too! Love olive one but now eating the horseradish one. Never tried TJ Miso, your potatoes with capers and lemon is like a Greek roasted potato dish. Love pickled red onions too, been making them for yrs.

I bought the sprinkle cookies because I saw them on your Instagram stories and I loved them! I’m not a huge sweets person but these were very delicious with a cup of tea. 😁😁

I miss Trader Joe's! I live next door to one, but with COVID rates so high I haven't been in months as I'm getting all my groceries delivered. I can't wait to go again once it's safer!

Great video! Living in Mexico, I miss Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. They have stores that are like Whole Foods, but now quite there with the vegan foods and ambiance. But overall a pretty nice store.😊
Nikki I am looking forward to trying the potato salad as well as the pizza! Not sure about the cauliflower crust (I haven't tried one yet) though I do LOVE cauliflower. I have made some pickled onions (I used the recipe from Plantifulkiki ) and it was so good!!! What a great idea to use the leftover vinegar for a dressing!! Anyway, keep up your awesome content, I love your videos!!! You REALLY inspire me to be better at making plant based yummy meals😋.

The flavour of store bought hummus is so strong to me that I could never ever use it in anything like replacing mayo. Plus mayo is delicious. Lol. Great video!
I love Mayo too! Just fun to change it up sometimes! Plus the lemon and other ingredients helps cut the richness of the the hummus. Side note did you see the garlic Mayo recipe I made in my lunches video? I’ve been putting that on everything recently. So tasty ☺️☺️💚💚

Love Trader Joe’s but I don’t have a store near me. I get wonderful organic fruit and vegetables at my Costco. Great prices!
I’m on the East Coast, and TJ’s Kalamata olive Hummus is my favorite. Do you have it on the West Coast in addition to the other olive hummus you showed? I’ve never seen that one, but I’ll look for it. I know we don’t get the eggplant one here, so I make sure to get it when I’m out west. That one is so good, made wo oil, and low in calories (which is great since I eat probably a half of a container at a sitting).
Love this haul and inspo, Nikki! When you make the pickled red onion do you cook them in the liquid or do you just put raw onion in the liquid? Also, I think a spoon of that pickled onion juice would be great in the green potato salad as well!😍😍
It’s raw, just slice very thin and put into the seasoned vinegar. Let it sit overnight and it’s ready ☺️☺️ There’s a recipe linked in the description box. Hope you enjoy!
Nikki, have you tried the "Uganda" dark chocolate 🍫? Omg so good. Those, the jerk plantain chips, and expresso dark chocolate batons are bomb! I have backups for my backups 🤫😅 also, recently tried the everything but the bagel chips and they were dangerously good. Need to stay away from those 😂

@@NikkiVegan I'm lucky! I live in Montreal and have a lot a great alternative around me : health store, public market etc.. I can find really vegan products without having to go far to find them! But when I see all the wonderful stuff you guys have at Trader's Joe.... I'm kind of jealous ;-)! Hope at least I will be able to go in the US soon to go on a food road lollll.....
The main organic food store we have in Montreal are: Rachel Béry, Tau and Avril!
I LOVE Chickpea omelettes! I actually use cashew queso from target or Kroger for the filling instead of vegan cheese! It’s definitely not a traditional omelette, but I guess it’s not already traditional anyway LOL

We finally have a Trader Joe's in our state and it's not far from me but bc of Covid rules the lines are always out the door and I wish they did online ordering so I could shop. I want to go so bad but I'd feel so bad bc I want to take my time & explore but not knowing there are people waiting on me to get out so they could get in lol
I am surprised they don't do online shopping because in the UK with the exception of Lidl UK and Aldi UK all the supermarkets and major health stores offer online shopping there's even local stores that offer online shopping or shopping through apps.

How do you get your chickpea omelette to stay together? Every time I make one, it falls apart in the pan so it looks more like scramble 🥺
There’s a couple of things that help! It’s mainly the method of cooking it which is to let it set for a minute, then cover and cook on medium low for 5 minutes. Flip it all the way over like a pancake and then add the toppings. Plus some of the ingredients I used help to prevent that too 😊 I hope you love it if you try it!

I use the bobs red mill one and it’s great for this because the flavor is more mild! It’s chickpea and fava beans instead of all chickpeas. So good!

Great video Nicole and good recipes which you could probably use with alternatives to Trader Joe's products. Are you and the Vegan View ladies OK? because there's not been any video's since December and that's unusual for the Vegan View ladies. I have noticed both Nicole and Hannah have been uploading videos since December so it seems to suggest that Nisha who is the only one who hasn't uploaded videos is the one in control or the administrator of the Vegan View channel and Nisha doesn't focus on UA-cam as much as Nicole and Hannah do so it doesn't seem fair for Hannah and Nicole to be taking a break from the Vegan View just because Nisha doesn't take the channel seriously enough.
Too much sugar in what you choose. Maybe have chosen Vegan but not healthy ingredients were selected.
