Thanks for those explanations. Really interesting. I've been testing PL 6 but it gives me a noticable shifts in colors compared to PL 5. I observe this phenomenon whan doing noise reduction and optical corrections only. Everything shift towards magenta/red and no setting inside PL can mitigate it. I saw some people on DxO forum reporting that as well (however, mostly Mac users) but am not sure if fix has been provided. Overall I like the concept of wide gamut as I'm working with Adobe RGB display as well.
Taking a break from prep for 🇨🇦 Thanksgiving dinner. Watched a bit of the beginning of the video. Too much about new/old gamut. Might come back, but flipping back and forth looks amateurish. Best to get it sorted out, then do the video. Sorry.
To memory, I think that was the whole idea of that one - what difference the different settings actually make? But to be fair my older videos were roughly planned, but the delivery was a lot more off the cuff. I have been working toward a more scripted experience recently. I might suggest lots of my older videos will annoy you so if you like the newer ones well enough... you might want to stick to those. :) Hope you have a great Thanksgiving dinner.

Yeah I heard about the Magenta shift... I had it years ago with DxO on a Mac but I have been lucky of late. I think I heard they have fixed it.
How do you detach the histogram so it is free floating...great videos by the way
