i recorded this for myself with the hopes that watching it would keep me strong when i needed to be.
i reached out to her less than a week later. ill just say that it was not a good decision.
love is not enough. there needs to be mutual respect and honesty to sustain a healthy relationship.
you need to know that your partner legitimately values you. if your intuition is telling you they don’t, take it seriously.
continuing to give love to the wrong person can destroy you, and if they don’t succeed, you’ll end up destroying yourself.
i am done hiding the truth of my experience to preserve someone else’s perceived character.
if that feels like a threat to anyone, maybe consider doing the healing work. we are all capable of growth once we take accountability.
