would love this as-well, every few months or so making a recap vid on what you've learnt, i think would help both the viewers and you. i see it as a win win all around
I would love a summary video about the setup! a lot of the suspension guides online are for high horsepower cars (200+hp) and the ke70 is such a good platform for aggressive driving style so I would love to learn about the takeaway points on your setup
Please i'd love to learn more about suspension setups and how to set them! I want to make my miata as close as i can get, with as much oem parts as possible, to a japanese touge drift setup so i can go to practice on my local mountain pass an see in time how my modifications affect the handling of the car. Thank you very much for the hardwork!💪💪💪
Tbh I learn a lot watching these vids, I love the music and overall vibes too! I do wish the vids were a bit longer but maybe that’d get rid of their quality or something. Can’t wait for more dude!
This one was a short little holiday special hahah sorry, but yes doing one a week and trying to get enough work done aside from the channel to earn a living, it’s a hard balance, hopefully as time goes on the income from regular work and UA-cam will balance or yt will overtake and I’ll be more free to take on larger projects with more content involved each week Thank you!
after all of this you need to look at your tyre specs! Grippy semi's work for NA because you're driving through lines (was running 205/55/15 RE003) but going back to a normal (cheap) compound 195 in the front made the car drive better (looser but better) I think the less square side wall helped heaps and actually helped the car rotate onto that front wheel instead of just constant grip that the chunkier semi allowed. Depends on your driving style but maybe worth a test!
Thanks Joel! Yeah absolutely, I think all this will still work great with a burner on front but still wanted to see how well I could get it to work on a semi cause it’s nice to know the grip is there on turn in and when you hit the brakes
@@GOTIME-CO yeah thats the difference, the confidence on turn in. around 10% of the time you will get wash out and it can go bad if you're not on the wheel haha
Absolutely please please please do a drift specific steering set up video. I'm setting up my own drift car for 2025 and the more info I can get the better 🤙
Was there a reason that you didn't weld support plate for the whole underside? For checking and adjusting the camber you can download an bubble level app. That steering geometry with big caster and extreme offset is really easy to see and feel on Go Kart that have exaggerated angles.
Yeah, reason I didn’t brace the whole thing is I didn’t want to make the whole lca too strong, if I smack the wheel into something I’d much rather the control arm was able to buckle than directly sending the force into the frame of the car. I figure this is plenty strong but not too strong of you get me Good shout about the app I’ll give that a try!
Dylan got a question, for a stock 4k what the preferable suspension setup that wont let the car bogging mid drift and one thing does jacking it like carolina squat might works for traction?? thanks
Hey hey So I’d say if you’re gonna be trying to drift the 4K which can absolutely be done (dm me on Insta I’ve got a vid for you) Then it’s all about removing grip. For starters I’d run a 165 or even 155 in the rear and probably 165 up front to keep it relatively balanced. Put the rear as low as you’re comfortable with and still have enough clearance and stuff as the arms start to lose their ability to articulate at lower heights in these which loosens the rear a lot. Bump your rear dampers to full stiff and then you could even run a bigger sway bar in the rear if you’re going all out. Then for the front; the stuff I’ve been talking about the last few weeks is all still applicable, getting the front end to slide will help a lot too cause most of your drift will be in the deceleration. Last I’d just say please don’t try it on the street as the commitment and speed for drifting a 4K in the dry is super sketch for the road. If you just wanna learn in the wet you really just need a welded diff and you’ll be on your way, no need really to pull all the grip out and probably safer on a 175 or 185 all round.
@@GOTIME-CO if u need extended tie rods btw, what i do is cut the oem outers and get a thick walled tube welded over em. i tried aftermarket extended inners, but nothing but problems w these new parts... ball joints give out too quick on them chinaparts
Would love a bonus video on what you have learnt

Super keen on your suggested learning summaries. I'm more experienced in the circuit scene rather than drift, but super interested nonetheless.

The corolla looks sick after that change! Also loved the soundtrack you chose for this video!
I love learning more in detail about one of my favorite drift cars
Recently discovered your channel and I absolutely love every single bit of it! 🙌🏽🤝🏽
would love to see a summary vid of all things suspension, this series has been super interesting so far!
This is sick Dylan, the mighty rolla is looking killer, cant wait to see her perform at Halfway 🤝
Thank you bro! So excited and nervous to see how it all works out

Merry Christmas Dylan. Corolla is looking tough 💪🏽😎
Thank you! Back at you
Good job on the new videos love the vibe
Looks great! I might give this a try one day
It’s definitely a big difference for not a crazy amount of effort
Sick video! Are you just super tall or are ke70s way smaller than i thought?
I am very tall hahahaha
these videos have been mega enjoyable
Thanks Jake ❤️
sounds good love the progress keep that shit up

Good stuff man, really learnt from these videos, would love the summary video too. Also whats the name of the DnB track you use in these videos?
Nice vid. Thanks for sharing!
the real car guys.
Good stuff 👌🔥

@@GOTIME-CO Good thinking! Control arm is much cheaper fuse.
Def want some longer lower control arms. And needa get my damn exhaust fitted
Can extend some for you bro, can do an exchange for some stock ones
Keen to buy one of the front air dams when you're ready, will you be doing pre orders?
Yeppp I’ll hopefully be doing a pre order early next year to get manufacturing under way as soon as possible
Are these 13“ wheels? 😊
When is that monday? With the bonus vid?
Probably in a few weeks time! I’ll try plan it out to cover the most ground but be concise and easy to understand

That nugget has some serious angle now. Also what's the track name @ 0:30? sounds killer
This is just a demo I made with the vocals pulled out hahah
