Yeah, I really like the look of the white fender too. Others that have been over and seen the bike in person love it like that too. I did get it running good before tearing the bike apart. It seems to run really good. I just need to see how it runs on the road. I might need to re-jet the carburetors due to the straight pipes.
Hey, Howard. Yes, you should be happy with the way the bike has turned out. It looks fantastic. I love your attention to detail. Excellent excellent job. I think that thing is really one cool. Looking bike, I'm looking forward to. Yeah, seeing you taking a spin on it. Take care Man, catch on next video.
I am elated at how the bike came out. It truly does look amazing. A friend came over and saw it in the garage for the first time since I first purchased it..... he was speechless, which is unusual for him!.... a big WOW came out of his mouth! Im big time looking forward to taking it for a nice spin. I need to get some early 70's era clothes to go for that ride lol.
I’m with t-rodzgarage saying the bike really looks good but I’m looking forward to your next car project. Just as you were finishing up on the Galaxie was when I got my ‘66 Galaxie 500 convertible. I went back in your videos and watched every one on the Galaxie. Really good stuff. Thanks for sharing them.
At the moment, prices of vintage cars worth restoring are really inflated. Until they come back to earth, or I find one worthy of fixing up at a reasonable price, I doubt I do another one. The bikes are cheap, easy and fun, so I might do more of them though. We will see.... who knows what might come along. I always keep my eye open.
Wow, another video so soon. Howard I appreciate every single one. I think I said this before that during covid your videos were helpful for people who were shut in. I'll never forget the Galaxie restoration. Have you heard anything about the Galaxie recently? By the way the Honda looks awesome!!
I also think the bars were switched just by the styles of the 2 bikes. The green bike just doesn’t have that look. Nice work Howard. It’s really coming together nicely.
To pass on a tip that another guy told me when you are polishing bolts or wire wheeling them , he used a turnbuckle for a handle . While it’s true you have to have several different sizes for each size of bolt , it helps protect the threads and holds them securely. By the way , only the end with the corresponding thread direction will work for this . Hope it helps if you’re not already doing this .
I find holding bolts with my fingers why buffing works best..... I guess wire wheeling that wouldn't work as the wire wheel would remove skin. The buffing wheels do nothing to my fingers when they hit the wheel.
The Galaxie was a fun project. I have done many projects like the Galaxie project, but that was before UA-cam, plus a did a lot of projects before the internet came about.
I can tell you have done a few. I have done a few as well. I would like to post some on UA-cam if I can figure out how to do it. Thank you for all the effort you put in for our enjoyment !
@ If you have them in a digital format, it will be easy to upload to UA-cam. Most of my past projects are on slides or VHS video. My dad always took photos of progress on my projects, but he always used slide film. He did video once he got a video camera, back when they first came out in the mid 80's. The video quality was not that great in the early days of "VHS camcorders". I still have mountains of VHS tapes. Some of the VHS video I did convert to digital, but the quality is poor at best, so I don't upload much of them anymore. Occasionally I'll get the VCR out and pop in one of my old VHS video to see the past. I often record the TV when playing them with my GoPro, due to wondering when my tapes will be so bad they're not viewable anymore, and/or if and when my old VCR craps out, which surprisingly still works well..... its from the 90's!
Turning out absolutely beautiful Howard! Can't wait for your crusing video
Yeah I'm looking forward to going for a ride...... hopefully sooner than later.

No I haven't heard from Chris lately, other than he has been using the Galaxie a lot.
Like the white fender and instruments, nice work Howard. I enjoy this series on the CB500 Four Honda.
Such a nice restoration. Well done.

I agree 100% on the bars.
Another great one! Good work Howard!
Thank you...... It's looking good. Hoping it runs as good as it looks.
@@OldCarAlleyI would be very surprised if it didn't!
@ I might need to put larger jets in the carbs, but won't know until the engine is under a load from riding the bike.

Thank you . I did upload one years ago with my cell phone. I will have to visit that again to see if I can remember how to do it.
Hi Howard I really like the front fender painted white
Thank you for the video
