Good job getting home the both of you home. I would have had a few cups of coffee waiting for the paramedics too.
Take it easy the next few days, you dodged a bullet my friend, glad you’re doing ok.

Glad that it wasn't worse. Sorry that you got hurt at all and being trapped under the bike is always an issue. You did get lucky with some of the lights and glad you were able to get the bike home with no further problems. Take care!

Yes Rob, the ankle could have easily snapped. I no longer have rubber reinforced bones unfortunately. I should have taken a ride to Dog of Troy.

Hi Good to hear you are not too bad, I had a similar incident 6 weeks ago when I was getting off my Suzuki. It fell off the stand, I tried to catch it but did a grade 2 rupture to my hamstring and wrenched my back. 4 weeks before I could ride again. I share you thoughts as to riding the bike home, I also rode my bike home I think it was mainly on adrenaline. I hope you heal quickly. Be sure to rest and if it is soft tissue ice the injured parts. Best wishes Bob

Yes, as an old guy who survived the younger days of fast motorcycling, now such things are usually from the simplest of causes. We can’t leave our two-wheeled friends alone after a mishap, can we. Good to hear you are up and running after your wrestle with a Suzuki and Sir Gravity. Likewise, I too, won’t be moving too fast for a while either. Good to hear from you Bob! All the best. Joe

@@JdilpkleRS Hi Joe. I am also a old guy. (69 years old this month) When you say you hurt the back of the leg it may be your hamstring (Mine was bruised black from just under the buttock to below the knee).
Rest up, take it easy and before you know it you will be out and on the BMW and the V-strom. Best wishes and get well soon. Bob

Joe - You got really lucky on multiple accounts - The amount of green lights on the way home was pretty lucky. I won't tell about some of the other stuff LOL...
Hope you are feeling better real soon !!!

Green lights are usually good! I really feel my age now. When I was 20 I think I had rubber bones. Good to hear from you. Joe
