The gentleman’s depth of knowledge and passion for these is remarkable. He is a worthy curator of this wonderful museum of watches and keeper of history. He is up there with the folks who collect vintage Speedmaster, Timex , Seiko’s and Soviet watches in terms of passion and knowledge for such esoteric subject matter.

If one has seen 10.000 watches, that person will have a better understanding of watches and could better evaluate them. But, that does not change the fact that he thinks that it is beautiful. There's a reason why the Submariner is so popular and that thousands of other brands have copied the design of it, it's a beautiful watch. That's a fact.

A customer of mine who I'm doing a speedboat for popped in last week on his way back from College ! hes 18. On his wrist he had a 2018 Rolex oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master in Rose Gold (rubber strap)!!! It stopped me in mid conversation about his boat..he said his dad gave it to him.Hes a very humble a nice chap But TBH it made me feel like crap! I work very very hard for myself ,and he has a 26k plus watch just as a gift.. it was stunning tho. Hopefully i can do the same for my son one day.

This gentleman has the most thorough Rolex watch collection I have ever seen in my life! I'm going to locate and purchase his book. I love reading about the historical aspects of particular watch companies more so Rolex and TUDOR because WITHOUT Rolex, my favorite brand would not exist.

When I was 13, my dad gave me a shovel. I was to do all the yard work before 6pm, otherwise I would’ve gotten a beating. Good thing I was wearing my second-hand Casio, the digital screen had just enough life in it that I could see the time, otherwise I would’ve been toast.
I'm not a total Rolex geek. But I like these kinds of collections. Got some really cool historic pieces in there. On my more common budget, I would never get the 'same' watch 50 times over. But if I had the means, why not. You have horology geeks, brand loyalists and mixes of both. It's all good.

I had a Son Goku Dragon Ball Plastic Chinese watch at the age of 13. Took it with me in the water and cryed myself to sleep after noticing it died.
