I feel good when I see classic trucks parked in front of a house. Myself, I have a 71' Chevy C10 , 86' Chevy K10 Longbed, 92 Chevy Silverado Shortbed C1500 and a 97 Chevy K1500 Longbed parked in front of our house. Out of the trucks, the 71' Chevy C10 seems to get attention from potential buyers followed by the 86' Chevy Longbed K10 but I tell them not selling but I enjoy seeing channels like this video showcasing their proud and joy. Classic trucks stand out more than a brand new truck 👍 🇺🇸..New subscriber here..

I'm years old and i'm still building trucks ,working on a 1966 custom cab big back window truck right now. Someone needs to bring these old trucks back. I've owned six square bodies in my life time with all the other trucks i've owned . Still own a 1993 Mark III conversion truck that I bought brand new. Love my chevy trucks
Congratulations on building your 66 buddy! You sound like me we've had a lot of trucks! Lol. Thanks buddy for your comment my friend and God bless you and your family always!
Good morning to you my friend! Thank you so much for your comment and for watching the videos! I hope that you will have a blessed day and weekend buddy! God bless you and your family always!
I'm 69 , in the 1970's I had 60's trucks ,in the 1980's I had 70's trucks now 2024 I've had this 1984 chevy 4×4 since 2009 ,15 years must be the one I decided to keep
I got the tobacco farm 1984 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 home. It has the 305 with the automatic trans. The owner who bought the 1994 new had the local GMC dealer put a new engine and trans in I believe she said in 2002 but they had a few other newer trucks by then and didn’t drive it much. Body is good, just some minor repairs needed. Long bed. I got it started and it ran about 15 minutes then quit. Not bad for sitting for 10 years. Power steering wasn’t working but may just need fluid. It quit before I put it in gear to check the trans. Now I am cleaning all the connections. They parked it in 2014. I had a 1980 Chevy half ton with the 250 six and three speed on the column years ago. Had a 1965 step side with 283 4 speed in the 80s. If the drivetrain turns out to be good, I will keep the 305. If not I will probably take off all the emissions stuff and drop a 350 in it. Going to tag it antique so no inspection.
Congratulations on your purchase of that truck! Sounds like a good one and it's already wanting to run too! Lol. Please keep me posted on your progress my friend! I really hope that the 305 and the transmission will turn to be good! Thanks buddy!
When I was 18 my step-dad bought me a '78 Chevy Big-10 step side that I only had for one day and the engine blew up. Apparently the previous owner beat the hell out of the motor and my step dad actually got the guy to take the truck back. I was so bummed
I’m 68 , if I knew then what I know now, I would be a wealthy man. My dad owned a 66,67,73,and we had a 67c60 dump truck with a 292 ,6 that we used for gravel hauling biz. If I only knew!!!!!
You've had some nice trucks! You would be set today if you still had them! I feel the same way with trucks I've had before too buddy! Thanks for your comment and for watching the video my friend!
IM 56 I WILL BE THE LAST GENERATION TO LIKE THESE OL C10S MY SON IS 29 AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ONE THEY DONT HAVE ENOUGH BIG SCREENS IN THEM SERIOUS RADIOS AND BLUE TOOTH ....I HARDLY EVER PLAY A RADIO IN ONE I JUST LIKE TO HERE THEM RUN BETTER THAN A RADIO
You and I are so much alike! Lol. I'm afraid that the younger generation won't like these old C10's anymore. Luckily at least for now, we are the "Caretakers" of C10's. Have a blessed day today my friend and God bless you and your family always!
I definitely have the deep love of these trucks and I ask myself why. What is the "philosophy" of the love of these old trucks? I wonder this myself often. Is it a nostalgia thing? Is it the look and feel of "authenticity" like exposed brick on expensive loft apartments? Is it identifying with a historical type of idea or fantasy?
You and I think alike my friend! Lol. Thanks for your comment and for watching the video! You understand completely what I am talking about! Have a blessed evening my friend and God bless you!

Kids have no idea about older vehicles. They're all into the import cars you spoke about. As they would call the import cars up North rice burners.
I think that you are right my friend!
Those trucks were easy to work on and plenty of parts available. You didn’t have to pay a mechanic 65bucks an hour for repair.
You're right! I miss the Old Days! Thanks buddy!

They became so popular because todays trucks all look the same ,rust out in few years, older chevys last forever if kept up
Think you are right buddy!
