Did you have to do any sort of reprogramming on the tcm when replacing the T case? Mine went out a couple days ago while driving and thought it was the trans that blew but everything is the same as your pt 1 video.
The good transfer case I installed never make the clicking noise when it had stress on it so internally I’m not sure what was going on but changed/replaced the whole transfer case with a good used one and she was good to go 👍
I paid $150 for the used transfer case. Not sure what was wrong with this one internally but if it costs $79 for the internal part for transfer case that would be a great help, do you have a link or a video explaining the tear down and rebuild for this?? It would be a great help
Did it only make noise on acceleration?
Mine stops noise if I let off gas
The truck wouldn’t move, part 1 video shows. Just made a loud grinding noise
Good wrench trick helped out thanks

No. As long as the transfer case comes from the same make/model/year you don’t have to program.👍
Solid wrench tip buddy 👌
Its a lot easier if you just order the stubby ratcheting wrench. They costs like 10bucks.
That’s all I had, I was in a pinch and had to get the truck fixed for work 😄👍
I was inspecting my u joint on my truck and heard the same noise your new transfer case makes when moving it back and forth. I guess thats normal??
