Don't get why Moshiri gets so much hate for not wanted to be taken to the bank. It's his shares, he can sell at whatever price he likes. Sure he wasted they money, but at least he invested. It's kept you up past few years. The grass isn't always greener on the other side!
If he invested the money smartly and got a professional to do the deals then we wouldn't need to be kept up.
That's what happens when you build a £700 million stadium, you get into debt. It's nothing to worry about. Most of the PL teams are in debt, but there never get mentioned
But other clubs aren’t in breach of PSR and can be active in the transfer market. Debt is fine as long as you have the revenue to service it
If you think any other club comes close to the quagmire that is Everton today you're deluded.

@MaxSignett might be having money problems at the moment but that stems from (1) Moshri (Who will be gone soon) (2) Cost of the new Stadium build putting the club in debt (Which happens to every club who builds a new Stadium) (ie) Spurs, Arsenal etc etc all were in debt for years after building a new Stadium (3) Goodison Park due to size and small capacity, cheapest tickets in the Premier League (4) No room to make new revenue streams at Goodison....So now the good news to piss on your parade Mr..!!(1) The revenue streams from Bramley Moore Dock have been worked out at a conservation estimate on matchdays that it will increase by a minimum of 4 times the amount Goodison brings in (2) Naming rights, + major new sponsorships which some have already been agreed for when Bramley Moore opens (3) Not just making money from Everton games alone also Concerts, Conferences, Exhibitions etc etc are all factored in as extra revenue streams apart from Everton's Football Club's and other attractions to do with the Club (4) New Billionaire owners hopefully American as they are very savvy at making enormous money revenues through the way they do business (5) Money revenue to come in through being picked to host matches in the European Championships in 2028 and I could carry on making g you look stupid but I think I've given you plenty of room for thought. .!! So STFU before you know the facts and not the BS Media hype which at the moment Evare the media's whipping boys..!! It's so frustrating how badly Farhad Moshiri has handled everything connected Everton, bar the new stadium.
I don't think if it's appropriate but will utter it nonetheless: Moshiri should think what his late friend Bill Kenwright would have thought of this takeover "chaos" or "circus"?
Also think that if either Friedkin or Textor are genuinely interested buying Everton, they should now act and no more loose talk and weird tactics.
Friedkin and Textor surely understand that in the long run Everton will be a great investment. At the same time Moshiri is not anymore in a position to demand anything for himself. He must take a big "haircut" and end this farce.
Moshiri has backed a string of managers who have wasted £millions on unsuccessful transfers
Everton is not a global giant so how can you be sure it will be a good investment ?

It's no longer the "People's Club". The club cannot even be arsed to reply to emails. I contacted Everton nearly three months ago. I am in Europe for a once in a lifetime trip. I have been a fan for nearly fifty years and asked if there would be a chance a purchasing a ticket for the Newcastle game. I didn't really expect to get lucky, but the club didn't even bother to reply to my request. Makes me want to switch to the Reds. The club is a mess.

Think I would prefer Friedkin over Textor but either of them should be a step up on current owner and hopefully we survive this season in prem and enter nxt year at BMD with new owners and manager and big upgrade to the squad

Everton have been in a financual mess for 10 years. Moshri came in and through his terrible ownership they are even further in the mire. How can a club in as much debt as Everton finance a new stadium (more debt) and with a straight face feel hard done by?
Everton got 600M in dept to build what will be a billion pound stadium it will all be worth it once where getting more than double in revenue very soon and let’s not forget it will be all paid for an owned by Everton UTFT
@Sutty0151 The debt for the stadium is on top of the debt they already had which is kind of my point. Stadium debt (600 million) is based on you being able to facilitate the interest payments on that debt. Those interest payments have to be included in your FFP declarations and it put you way above the threshold, hence the point deduction and selling of players.
777 bank rolled you for a reported 200 million and have since sold that debt on to an American company.
The interest on that debt will be counted in your FFP too.
If that debt gets wiped and you stay in the prem and you achieve full occupancy of SMD then you might be ok. You are seriously rolling the dice though
