I love Yosemite National Park. I've been there 2 times and loved this hike all the way to half dome.
So many good memories came back watching this video. Thanks for capturing one of (if not the) favorite places in the world.
Let me know when your coming back 🤙
I've hiked that trail numerous times since I was a kid. It's such a beautiful trail.
Your little boy will have so many videos to look back on. It will be interesting to see if he develops a love of hiking like his parents as he grows older. I'll bet he does.
He loves the outdoors already! Can imagine what he’s going to be like when he’s just a few years older!
@@Sheety33 You'll probably need to up your game to keep up with him when he gets older, lol!
When I hiked the mist trail in April there were puddles along the rocks at 11:40 and you needed a raincoat for about 100 yards. Kind of nicer in your hike
Another spectacular vid. Great family outing. Looked to be a good workout for ya too. Thanks for sharing again!
Keep ‘em coming Scotty.., always enjoyable!
Thank you!
Another great hike!
Nice chill hike.
Thanks for sharing all your tips and trip info at the end. That is super helpful, thank you!
Great video, great summary. Did this in June 2019. Can't wait to get back their with my family one of these days. One of the most beautiful parks and falls in the whole world. I was tired after doing that hike, I went clockwise. Views most likely better anti clockwise. I found coming down the switchbacks on the jmt difficult for sure but going up the must trail wasn't easy either but plenty of awesome stops for breaks.
Loving the high quality videos you've been creating! It' so enriching watching you guys sharing your experiences at Yosemite National Park with us. I am a fan from Bangalore
Thank you!
Cheers for this video, think this is one of trails you recommended earlier in the year in your Q&A video, I can see why, amazing scenery, definitely going on my list!. The information/tips at the end is a great touch...Merry Christmas to you and your family, look forward to your vids in 2023!.
Thank you and Merry Christmas !!
One of my favorite hikes ever! Starting early is great advice, though…I’ve done this hike in the afternoon and it was a total zoo. I would add that if you’re going down the Mist Trail, a lot of people might benefit from using trekking poles, as those big awkward granite steps can be pretty hard on the knees. Love the video! Makes me want to start planning my Yosemite trip for this spring.
Hiking back down from Half Dome, and the steps coming down both Nevada and Vernal Falls is precisely what convinced me to start using trekking poles. Prior to that I used to see people using them and I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to carry those things. Now I know! I love my trekking poles!
I’d say trekking poles are almost a necessity for this hike!
👍👍❤❤👌👌😊😊
Fall footbridge and it damn near killed me! I wish I could do the entire loop. The water refill tasted delicious!
Great video! I have a broken leg right now, but am an easy to moderate (my moderate is easier than yours!) hiker. In fact I broke my leg hiking! I will be back at it with hiking poles as soon as I am able!
How did you break your leg hiking? Hope you get well soon!
@@Sheety33 on a easy mowed grass nature trail. I sometimes hike the Bruce Trail up here where you need to watch your footing, but this was an easy trail down to a river so I wasn't paying attention hit mud on a downhill and landed on my ankle one way, split second the other wrong way (outward) heard my leg crack. Had to crawl out on my hand and knees. Had burrs stuck in my hair. Good reminder to always watch out, even if it's easy going.
@@anitawarburton6087 ouch, be careful out there. Hope you have a speedy recovery!
