Very helpful…could you elaborate on the amount we need to add for what we think the cards will be worth? That’s the entire reason why I’m sending the cards in to be graded so I can then see what they should be worth? So I’m confused. My estimate could be off by hundreds based on the grade?
Thanks for the video, super helpful! Just one question, when you get your cards back, from paying the $15, you get them back in the protective sleeve?!
I don't understand what pirate ship is and how it works, and also where do i take my package after i put all the labels. Do I just take it to my local usps? is there like a drop off area?

Can you submit two different orders and send in one box? Let’s say you want one that you want to grade quicker. If so, do you place both of the outside box bar codes on there?
Man..I called PSA to ask how to put my barcode on the box and a guy told me I could use clear tape over the label…I really, really hope they don’t kick it back. Super nervous about that! Everything else I followed 100%.
I think for those who are living in Asia and wants to ship their cards to PSA, do you have any idea which address should they ship to ? USPS or Fedex could be costly for them and there are cheaper alternatives such as EMS. Thanks
I believe PSA has divisions in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo so what’s where people in Asia can ship them to for cheaper! You would have to look it up on their site to see if there’s addresses of those divisions
I'm confused at the "insured up to" amount. Does this mean if they grade a card and it turns out to be worth a lot more after graded than you originally declared... Can they charge you more than 15 bucks per card?
You have to put the estimated value as if it got graded, they are pretty lenient with what you put, but for example if you put $100 and it gets graded and it’s like $1000 they will charge you extra for that card! It’s really for insurance purposes for your package when they send it back to you
Great video and very thorough explanation so thank you! I have a couple of questions for you? 1) If you were to submit an autograph card i.e. VICTOR WEMBANYAMA 2023-24 TOPPS CHROME AUTOGRAPH ROOKIE CARD, would you select (Autograph Dual service) or is this not required since they autograph was printed by Topps? 2) If I want to do a multi submission, i.e. a list of 20 cards at the $18.99 (declared value up to $500) tier because of the declared value of those cards, and another submission with 5 cards with a declared value above $500, how can you do that so you end up with 1 label to be printed out and stick it on the box? Thanks!
Yeah, I would recommend putting it in a penny sleeve first. Regardless it is coming out of the original wrapping so I would rather do it myself because you don't want the PSA employees damaging it.
What kind of service level do you choose through pirateship? I know if you get the Priority Mail Express from usps it will get there in a day or 2? also they don't care if you use a usps box ?
I usually use priority because it gets there faster! It just depends if you want to spend the extra money! And they don’t care! You can use a usps box or any ordinary box with no lettering on it!
I don't understand the insurance aspect of all of this, do i have to pay insurance on every single card, after already paying to have them graded? How much does it cost and can I choose not to pay this? Or will they just hold my cards forever?
The reason you have to pay insurance is because it is a liability shipping high values cards through the mail. It doesn't cost too much (depending on how much you sent out)
When you submit cards to be graded, do they send the card savers, penny sleeves etc that you shipped cards in back when they ship graded cards back to you? Just curious. Thanks
Thanks for this! First time submitting. Very helpful. Just to be clear, if I have 2 submissions going in the same package (TCG Bulk and Value), would I put 1 or 2 under "Total # of orders included in this package" on the submission form?
I'm a new collector. What's a good site or app to get current values BEFORE submitting to PSA? I'm finding this to be a frustrating step in this process. Thank you.
A bit over the top but decent explanation. Based on the value of the average person's time and effort and such it seems that it would only be worth it to get a card graded if its worth in excess of $100+/- and you are positive that it will sell. Which means that over 90% of the cards you see on Ebay (that are graded) are a loss for the seller.
I for sure will! And usually for the extra thick cards that won’t fit in the card savers, you can send them in a top loader or one touch and they won’t care

But then it turns out as a 10? also what about international customer? we don't have USPS. is fedex only option? Or does dhl work aswell?
Just curious on how PSA send you back your exact card? I mean is there anything in place to guarantee the card you have sent is the card you returned? I understand if PSA do send cards back that aren’t original I’m sure they would have been a law suit against them.. however there is no guarantee right?

Hey man, I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. But I'm a new baseball card collector and ran across a 35th Anniversary Jackie Robinson card. Do you think that has any value?
I'm in the process of doing my first submission so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure to take advantage of the discount you have to have a minimum of like 15 to 20 cards being graded at value service or higher. You would have to pay full price for individual cards
Okay so this is the first time for me, and I’m having a hard time understanding the the pricing cause I don’t know what my grades gonna be. I have a halo charizard from the 1999 wizard what should I select? If I choose the $200/$25 and the card turns out to be a psa 7 or 8 will they just up charge
Just looking into evaluation of cards (pokemon) bought in 1999 sitting in storage all these years. Your video came up in my feed today. Presently, the videos I watched makes me question going with PSA for grading. I am considering to go through Becket instead. My gut feeling is to avoid using PSA. What is the massive benefit to PSA grading? Does this take years to get them back?
Do you at least get a warning or heads up about the payment. I mean what if you go with the value bulk or something and it takes 5months to come back will it tell you hey your cards are going to be shipped soon have a payment ready?
I’m pretty sure they have some sort of notification system now that can go to your phone! It will tell you when the cards are about to be finished and shipped out!
You should let people know that to get the best prices they need to become members of PSA for the 99.00.

I'm in the process of doing my first submission so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure to take advantage of the discount you have to have a minimum of like 15 to 20 cards being graded at value service or higher. You would have to pay full price for individual cards
@@kaedenf85 mine finished I paid 60 for what the value could be at if it got a 10
does every card you send in come back in a sealed plastic protector with the PSA grade and serial number at the top?
Can u send cards for grading from the Middle East or only in USA?
Okay so this is the first time for me, and I’m having a hard time understanding the the pricing cause I don’t know what my grades gonna be. I have a halo charizard from the 1999 wizard what should I select? If I choose the $200/$25 and the card turns out to be a psa 7 or 8 will they just up charge
How long does it take? I have like 25 yugi oh cards first edition worth grading. One is worth 6-10k
What if we DONT have a computer? Can we use a phone?
i paid 19$ for the shipping for my order but i didnt see anywhere i could purchase a label
$19 to ship it to PSA or $19 for them to ship it back?
@@cranescollectibles it said i paid 19 for insured shipping
@@cranescollectibles so i’m not sure what to do now
That is probably for them to ship it back to you, you will still need to purchase a shipping label to send it to them!
@@cranescollectibles why does shipping to them cost 19
Oh yeah i have another question: When i use ups do I habe to ship it to the fedex address or the usps Address
Do you clean your cards and wipe them off before sending your cards to psa?
Yes I do, i usually use a microfiber cloth and wipe off any surface dust or dirt
@@cranescollectibles awesome thank you so much!
What if I have one card over the max declared value do I have to do a separate submission?
I usually don’t, they will upcharge you after the submission if they feel it’s over the max declared value
Is the 15 dollar per card a promo they give once in a while or do you need to be a collectors club exclusive
you need to be a club exclusive member AND they change the promo every month!
The website looks completky diffrent i think you sould do another vid with the new website
Grade it. PSA is the most respected. Sold my old collection for penny's. Thinking what graded would have been makes me sick.
@@cranescollectibles bet I appreciate you alot💯💯
How do youbsend in funko pops?
Ooo I’m not sure about that! You have to choose a different grading option and ship it in a much bigger box haha
I need a better explanation on the upcharge aspect about this
So does the bulk have a limit? And what did the grand total end up being for 20 cards?
