I was in room 12274. Got on very early and upon returning ( Bklyn port both ways ) took our own large rolling luggage and got off way early, beating the crowds. Two weeks ago. Had a balcony which faced the downtown skyline.
Another excellent video. Thank you. I especially LOVE showing the TV channels (must have something on to fall asleep). Questions: How were the TV and WiFi service and for specialty dining, if you don't care for one of the restaurants --let's say allergic to seafood, can you switch out restaurants? I also noticed the teppanyaki restaurant was only in 1 package, can you substitute that restaurant in a smaller package? Thanks again!
Thank you very much! 😊 Yes I think for their specialty dining package, you can't mix and match, but if you explain to them that you're allergic to seafood, they might make an exception so perhaps you can eat at the same one twice. As far as teppanyaki- seems that if the ship has it, and you have at least a 2 dinner package, then one of them can count towards it. www.msccruisesusa.com/on-board/dining-drinks/dining-packages-specialty-restaurants
I do have one question. I normally sail out of cape liberty New Jersey because it seems to be easier to get to the port. How hard is it to get to the New York port? I’ve heard it’s not as easy. We live in Maryland so we usually drive up and spend the night first.
This was from the Brooklyn cruise terminal, so you wouldn't have to go through Manhattan. That could save some time. Our cruise before this one on Carnival- it left from the Manhanttan cruise terminal, and yeah that was rough. Our Uber driver even got a ticket, and we felt really bad for him.
Balcony state room for me would be a no. Just you videoing it made me sick to my stomach..fear of heights and deep water. To me the room was so so. Better than the last video though. The tissue box in the drawer looked like it was crappily opened but it could have been the lightning. Not enough bath towels in bath area, no liners in trash. But, i love your vlogs and if you're okay with the room thats all that matters. Happy trip.
Thanks for the comment Kathy! 😊 Yeah we also thought this one was a little better, despite the Venezia being a newer ship. Definitely needed a separate light there for the mirror. We also wonder about the liner in the trash- that's actually a common practice by the cruise lines not to have one. I suppose it's to reduce plastic use.
I feel bad for their son honestly. Kid probably has no real friends having to tag along with mom and dad year round taking cruises nonstop. All for "the views".
Lol not at all- he really enjoys cruising (especially the food), and has even made friends from all over the country and abroad. We don't really care that much about the views- main goal for us is to make the videos helpful/informative.
I love how spacious and beautifully designed the cabin is. Thank you for sharing this glimpse into such a luxurious experience 😍😍
Our pleasure- thanks for the comment! 😊
@@TravelTouristVideos You're very welcome! Your content always brings so much joy-keep it up! 😊
Good to finally get a sneak peek of the man behind the voice! Very good room tour!
Thank you very much Donald! 😊
Very nice stateroom! I don’t like that the room key had to be used to keep lights on either 😇
Thanks for the comment Bee! 😊 Yeah usually that can be defeated using a rigid card, but this one apparently has a scanner that checks the barcode.
What deck are you on?
This was from deck 13
The views are beautiful!! I’m traveling with my 8 year old and the balcony would make me too paranoid. Thanks for sharing 😊
Our pleasure- thanks for the comment! 😊 Definitely understand your concern, so maybe oceanview would be better.

Nice! Hope you had a great time!
Thanks for the tour, nice room. Not alot of storage if more than 2 people.
Our pleasure- thanks for the comment Karen! 😊
