If you don't have a goal, you are just wandering through life waiting for something to fall on your lap.
This includes short term goals, such as daily and weekly, medium term, maybe 5 to 10 years and then long term. All of which can and should change as circumstances dictate.
A nice short and to the point video Perry!
Always watch your vids Perry. At 51 I thought I was the only one still up shit street financially but your vids don't make me feel so alone. Cheers mate.
It’s absolutely fantastic that I can help mate. TWo old buggers trying to make the best of what time is left
Nice short video on a very important thing. Having a goal and a plan in life, it is as mention in the video. Without a goal, you working in a job is just working to make someone rich but not yourself as you do not have idea or goal to improve your live or heck get rich (whatever that means to you).
Having a goal for the first time in my life at age 57, changed everything John
Great video, am I losing it or did you have a story like this other week?
The challenge is Chris, is saying the same thing 52 times a year in a different way that people find entertaining, engaging and useful.
So to answer your question, yes, probably. 😂
@@StupidIsTheNorm Good, I was worried age was getting to me then, well either age or I was predicting the future, if it was the latter I was going to put a quid on the lottery.

Hey Perry you ever thought about investing into commercial property? take away shops, nail bars, warehouses? iv just come into a bit of money myself and looking at it not really seeing a down side with the long leases and full repair and insurance lease. Thoughts?
It’s something I’ve considered.
My concern is the ton of empty shops on high streets. The ‘to lease’ boards I see all over industrial estates. The amount of takeaway menus I get shoved through my door. The amount of barbers, hairdressers, beauty parlours, all competing with each other.
I think if I did buy a commercial property, it would be a place with 5 years left on the lease taken out by a brand I’m confident will last 5 years - providing it’s not a bank 😂
@@StupidIsTheNorm That's true, Its something i'll need to look more into, I do think you would need amazon / lockdown proof business like the takeaways nail bars ect and then get them on a minimum term of 5 -7 Years lease. although if they did go out of business you could always sell the freehold if you couldn't find a replacement
Find a derelict barn on a couple of acres somewhere to renovate?
@@Nutmegsyourman if only I was the only person looking for such an opportunity. That would be good
