Sheets are great idea. Our local thrift store has a variety of sheets, some vintage, that sell for around $4 -$8 a set.
Is this a cheaper option than buying fabric by the yard?
@@arxsyn I honestly don't know. Good question. I don't buy fabric but now I'll check it out. One thing for sure, you can find some pretty funky, vintage sheets there. 😊

I loved watching this video. I’m planning on making a sundress for myself this summer. I have a vintage bedsheet from the 70s I’m planning on using. This video really inspired and motivated me to get started on this project!

Hi Alexandra. I’m a big fan of your UA-cam/Instagram videos. Your probably not going to read this, but I had a video idea I think you might enjoy, because you get to be creative, without having to follow any patterns.
You have made so many wonderful themed Disney princess and Barbie dresses. Why don’t you design a dress that you would wear if you were a princess in a fairy tale.
This gives you the opportunity to pick any pattern, fabric, colours, you want. And it will take away any stress of recreating a dress that already exists.

I love how it came out, if you ask me the stiffness from the thickness of the bow works. Especially, to keep the dress structured, so it doesn’t fall in the back, and the extra poofiness that it adds.
I think it would be super cute to turn the bag the sheets came in into a purse/bookbag. Just add some straps and wahlah!
