My mother passed away recently and this was her favorite singer, I was just sitting at dinner and this song came on and I started to cry bc it brought up memories of me and my mom singing together on her bed w hairbrushes and my stepmother made fun of me for it and said “well since you’re crying you seem to have not gotten over it and should talk to a therapist “ i wish my mother was here to hold me so badly through that comment, I need her loving arms telling me it’s going to be okay

I cannot believe this is live. Her control of her instrument is absolutely breathtaking. Rest in love, Ms. Whitney.

She was so talented. She had one of the most beautiful and versatile voices ever. Such a loss.

Who is here in 2021?, this is one of the greatest songs of all time. No auto tune, just pure true talent and class. No revealing clothes, no dancing, just standing there bringing tears to people’s eyes with her beautiful voice

The female version of Freddie Mercury hands down. God broke the mold when he made both of them. Never again will we witness voices this perfect.

This BEAUTIFUL SOAL was a true inspiration to me. This isn’t about race, but growing up in my early teens in the middle 80’s to early 90’s as a white kid from a country background, the first time I seen and heard this GREAT LADY, I fell in love with her! To this day I get numb when I hear her. GOD put an ANGEL before us in her. NO One will EVER be Mrs. Whitney Houston! GOD Bless her and please keep her close to you ! Thank YOU GOD for all the blessings that you have afforded us and THANK YOU for the blessing of Mrs. WH!

You mourn for as long as it need to.. I still cry for my mom and she passed 25 years ago. Anyone who don't understand if they are still around and they lose someone one day just remind them.. that you understand so they can mourn for as long as they need.. We do not need to be rude to others that's what people need to know.. if you have nothing nice to say then please don't say nothing at all. 🙏👼❤
