Excellent review! very useful for me and at the right time. Question, I love matt screens so I'm planning to get this..the apps I'm always on is twitter a lot, telegram, WhatsApp, tradingview a lot. Would you say the text graphics are very clear? Also how is looking at graphs? BTW I'm currently using s20. Thanks in advance.
It's a good phone. I could only ask for a better processor as it lags behind sometimes and an OLED display panel rather than IPS with the NXTPAPER coating on top - that would be amazing!
@@NajamReviewsTech with the lag, is that when opening and moving between apps, or just in general even when not switching app? I’m using an iPhone 12 mini for the past 3.5 years, but fancy a bigger screen and better battery life for my next phone. I’m guessing the TCL would be a big downgrade from my current phone, even though the 12 mini is from about 3 years ago? Or would they be comparable in terms of performance?
I think they come with different processors depending on the region, MT g80, g88 and from what I see g85 have been reported as well. I have seen a single sim. It is an interesting phone.
Question, I'm used to on my current android that i can easily turn off wifi and data for individual apps through the app settings nenu. Can you also do that on this flavour of android?
Thanks for this review! I'm very interested in split screen use and stylus use (I don't like to operate my phone via the fingertip). I wonder if there are special styles functions sublease to the one of the Samsung Note 9 I'm currently using. Its there a floating keypad mode too? And die anybody know if the s-pen would work with the phone (since there is no T-Pen available in my country)?
I have not used the stylus with this but I don't think it's like the note 9 - there probably aren't special features. I use Gboard and it can detach to be a floating keyboard. Aside from that, it's like any other phone. You can use split screen apps.
This is the most detailed review of anything I've ever seen before. You deserve many more subscribers. Thank you.
Thank you!
The phone is awesome. I bought two. One for myself and one as a gift.
Its important to higlight that the screen will scratch easily

Thanks, the screen is excellent and everything is clear.
Please i've got this phone but i don't know how to change the locker screen clock style
Is there a dark mode so it’s not over bright when ready in bed??
yes
@@NajamReviewsTechThanks. Have you been using it much over the past month? What’s your view on it after that time?

The iPhone 12 mini is a much better performer than the TCL Nxtpaper 40. Performance wise it would be a downgrade.

Do you know how to remove the zoom button that's in the screen? It's very annoying
I'm not sure what you are talking about. Where is the zoom button?
how the battery life ? is that display really use less energy than oled or normal lcd ?
normal LCD screen but battery life is 2 days of casual use.
Great post brother! keep posting.
Thanks, will do!

I can't find the option for each individual application in the settings.
what about in the options menu you get when you long press an app and select options/settings there?
@@NajamReviewsTech
Holding the application down gets menu for the app on homepage customisation. What phone are you using?
Should I use any display protector in this display?
