Thankyou for this. I have a no dig allotment for 5 years, in Wiltshire. I can see the change in the soil from compacted clay to, funnily enough, 6 inches of healthy, worm filled soil. I use woodchips for paths that feed the Mycorrhizal fungi. I don’t know how this can be translated to farming but at least I have partially reclaimed my small plot to natural production. Organic fruit and vegetables are abundant. Freezer is full again for the winter.
