Nuclear Europe 2021 - Panel session - A decarbonised 2050 With or without nuclear?

Europe has less than thirty years left to radically change its energy system in order to achieve its goal of decarbonising its economy. This means that the right choices need to be made today in order to ensure a system which is low-carbon, sustainable and ensures security of supply. Achieving this will require basing policies on science and ensuring that citizens are on board with the transformation. Against this backdrop, #NuclearEurope2021 will focus on two important aspect: public opinion towards nuclear and the role which this low-carbon technology can play in 2050.
