@@drew1637 yea for sure even if you can't grow big tall ones you could try growing smaller ones or globular cactus I quite enjoy growing oxygonas the way they look I like and the flowers are always cool. Don't take up much space
At the moment I'm selling some that I don't see a future in breeding them so they aren't the nicest there but with the nicest ones I will do cuttings. Can contact me through insta instagram.com/curtis_cacti?igshid=YTQwZjQ0NmI0OA==
Yea it's quite odd it's like it needs to grow for certain amount of time before it does the thing. Most of the time I see the grafted ones of it won't do it for a while but they do end up doing it even when grafted it just takes a while.
@@geromerca6734 I think they are. I think the CSD that are getting long spines are usually grafted. But aswell you can get certain clones that will change spine length and other characteristics when maturing even when they are just cuttings because of the amount of nutrients they can take with limited roots.
Well if they keep growing higher that's awesome. I assume at a certain stage they will snap or lean over heaps that's when I will cut or stake it. But doesn't bother me if it snaps from being too tall. And then I'll get a few pups to replace it anyway
Very nice garden I would love to see more
Wow, spectacular plants! 😃💚🌵
Good vibes , inspired by your Trichos
My guess would be landfill and nice cactus farm bro! Looks like you're surfing a cactus ocean.
I wish I lived in a climate where I could grow cacti outside!
If I ever make a big move again it will be to Texas, Arizona, New Mexico or Utah.
Texas and Az. but I struggle here in New Mexico to keep a columnar garden thriving, as I am guessing Utah would not be the best either...
If you got the money could always get a big greenhouse but would obviously be better to move to a warmer climate
@@CurtsCactus my backyard isn't very big, but I have thought about trying to do a small greenhouse. I wish I had more room.
@@cactuscapacity yes, Def need cold-hardy cacti, but to have a southwestern desert landscape would be a dream. I love the desert environment.
