You know why people slip out of barrages? Well, when your low hp, you move slower. Coupled with the speed reduction from using your barrage, your total speed is less than the knock back the barrage provides, allowing people to skip out of your barrage when your low hp. If anybody is also and confused and sees this, I hope you understand now.
Also happens with m1+jaw when you’re on low hp
also also happens when you lag like your screen freezes for one full second (aka 14 anime episodes)

The best feature that they could add would be making the tree last longer and reflect dmg, but u can’t pose in it so it would be like pre rework tree but crossed with like love train

You should try doing something like this with balance patches where you use the stands that get buffed/nerfed and see if they’re still usable or if the buffs were good, give your opinions on it, and say if something was stupid or not

GE literally has old reality overwrite punch with poison now. Only difference being the animation, and that it block breaks instead of block bypassing. Makes the stand quite viable. Heal needs serious nerfs now though.

The hitbox increase and guaranteed slowing is still not a thing with frog punch

3:48 the way this works, with spin or hamon, when you charge it automatically sets you to be running. However, if you just tap the button it toggles your run like how if you pressed ctrl (bug)
I find it funny how some people dont know that when you can use frog punch, you can actually attack the frog to deal damage to the opponent from any range

3:05 the hamon thing relies on one thing if you were running at that moment or not
since the devs write spaghetti code for the game its basically if you were running it will automatically press ctrl for you causing you to stop running or when u werent running it will start running automatically for you because of the ctrl. Moves can be a big problem for this since if you use a move that stops you character from running and you charge hamon you will run but if the character doesnt stop then you will stop running

The frog move is such a cool concept, too bad it only lasts for a few seconds and doesn’t work in 1v1s and 2v2s. Ge feels balanced and more fun to play now but the heal is still a bit too broken in my opinion.

If it lasted any longer you would just lose like half your hp to m1's. Except in 1v1s/2v2s of course. Frog punch is great now anyways because its basically old reality overwrite punch with poison.

@@diamondscar5818 You could still block, or get close to the enemy. If frog punch gets fixed the counter play is gonna be to get close to the enemy so that they can’t abuse the frog, remember spec moves don’t work on the frog either, so it’s not like they’re gonna get a free jaw break.

The heal should heal for less (like maybe 20-30 hp) and be as long as GER's cooldown IMO.

If you charge hamon with nearly the full bar left it will act like a toggle sprint (or just charging for a second) but if you charge a larger amount of hamon (or hold it for longer) it will keep you sprinting
just to remind you that the charge and sprint key is now integrated
I am not sure if you know about it, but there is a problem with being able to hit the frog from afar and its really hard to block or parry anything when you are not close and among all of that they can just barrage the frog.
Imo cream needs a rework, theres nothing you can do about the wormhole rise move if you have non perfect ping. First would be replacing the move with a move like time skip but it keeps the rest of the mechanics. Next would be a telegraphed charge forward like propeller charge which can be perfect blocked but block breaks. And the zig zag could be telegraphed a bit better but increase the speed once it starts
Imo they should make the zigzag more similar to mih's judgement thingy

Rtz can no longer be used in stun (no getting out of a mastered eye gouge into bd) and awakening does not buff heal anymore (no more 130 health regained from 2 buttons, but you still get like 80 back in total). Pretty eh changes

Hey Eclipse, ever since the last few reworks and updates showing that YBA actually can push out good content, I’ve been thinking. What if they reworked Star Platinum: The World? Some ideas I have thought of are:
Bearing shot- an obvious pick for a new move in SPTW’s arsenal. It could replace Platinum slam as that move is rather wonky and has no real canon anime ties. It could be maybe something similar to CD’s version of the move
TS Rework- Ok, so this is gonna be a highly controversial one, BUT I think my version of the rework would be closer to the anime and would be unique. So, instead of the regular ts, it would instead be something similar to GER’s old RTZ. You could use it in stun to time stop and get instantly behind them a few steps away while uttering Yare Yare Daze... The tp away is to make sure people don’t abuse this to start a combo for someone else starting one. This would be similar to KC’s Epitaph. And if the move was used out of stun, it would charge a meter while doing Jotaro’s pose (Eclipse’s idea) and when the meter is fully charged (which would take around 10 seconds) it will activate the 5 second ts after tping to the enemy.

i currently use ge + pluck, its really good, with pluck not having any damage reduction gets balanced out by the 60 heal, the beatdown also is easy to land since pierce strike has a low cooldown

If they fix frog punch the only thing that ge needs for good balancing is a heal windup increase as well as a cooldown increase, that way the heal can act as a life saver instead of effectively doing the same as vampire’s hyper regen.
Frog punch works it just doesnt in sbr and ranked cuz it'd be broken op to get hit by a whole sbr gang from range and in 1v1's anyone who didn't know hoe frog punch works would be in deep trouble

its already quite a bit better than GER, and just cause GER is some godly stand in the anime doesnt mean it has to be a juggernaut in the game or even better than GE. and the "balancing team" doesnt exist, all the balance changes are done by uzu, and he has done way worse things than make GE better than GER before.
+ SP has been better than SPTW for a while now. so i dont see why you get angry over this and not that
At least they are trying to balance stands and ger and ge are both not broken nor terrible they might need nerfs to there heals but overall they both not the worst in terms of balancing

fun fact: by absolutely butchering or completely changing most stands and letting SM remain almost untouched, it has basically gotten a buff and this is totally not an excuse to make you play the funny dinosaur infection stand

Eclipse, when you try the new buffed SC, you should spam Last Shot and fish for M1s as much as possible. Armor Off SC wins every single M1 trade if you hit the enemy before they can. Since Armor Off SC's M1s are so fast, you can true combo Million Pricks and moves like Vamp Freeze and Jaw Breaker off of just 2 M1s
Finally they buffed GE, i used to play ge (since is one of my fav stands) with hamon but it was a bit boring since he didn't had the muda kicks and a bit difficult to play, now is much better
In my opinion with this new buff, GE can actually put up a fight against some of the stronger stands way better than it could before. What I'm trying to say is, GE could maybe easily take down a ts stand if used right.

I feel like they should remove the player healthbar. whenever you’re low, you can still play aggressive without worrying about the opponent knowing you’re low.

Then itd be hard to know when to use BDs, i think the reason health bars can be seen is so you can use executions at the better times when opponents have orange hp, red hp, or yellow hp, and to also know if the opponent is low
Challenge idea: do a no blocking challenge for 1v1s where you have to win 4-5 matchs without blocking a single attack!

If anyone here is planning on maining GE, use the frog punch, then knock the opponent away with the tree, and then barrage the frog, or just m1 it, I advise not to use any spec moves, as anytime I tried, they didn’t hit, so barrage or m1
Oh you are absolutely wrong. Certain spec moves like boxing barrage hamon barrage and vamp freeze are able to hit the frog.

For some reason the frog that appears when you land frog punch is disabled in sbr and 1v1s + 2v2s, but in a the main game when you use the frog move and land it, you can hit the frog that appears and it counts as hitting the actual player.
I think a solution for the health bar problems, is a damage counter on the enemy's head. It won't tell the health, but instead tells you how much damage you dealt in total. It will only change in value whenever YOU hit them. Other players/npcs damage won't count in that counter for you cliently.

There was this glitch with frog 🐸 where u can get inf range. He was barraging me like 10 meters away and it did damage like someone invisible was doing it.
its not a glitch nor a exploit in 1v1 the frog disappears. but in main game when you hit somone with frog punch a frog spawns and that frog is like a extended hitbox. you can use moves on it and it will hit the other person who got hit by frog punch

the hamon making you not run or run is just making you stop running, then auto running after you stop charging hamon, but since run has a cooldown for some ungodly reason, if you tap hamon it just stops you from auto running because there isnt enough time to auto run

hamon charge is like dashing, except dashing always makes you auto-run and if u were running before charging it will make u walk (not run) and if you were walking (like dashing) it will make you auto-run
After the new ge was added I played a series of 1v1s with a pretty good sptw. It was really fun. Sptw is one of my favorite stands to fight and doing it with such a meh stand was really fun. I think ge is in an OK spot rn. I'd still prefer for the life form to be replaced with some sort of aimed projectile block break like revolver or cd's ball. And also make the beatdown not look like ass.
