I've been filling transmissions that way for 20 years. I use a 2.5 gallon jug with a plastic brake bleader fitting in the top. Plastic air line works great for transmissions with small fill ports. Bummer about the end of the video.
Dude! I'm 50 and that trans trick is genius. I've bought numerous different pumps and nothing but a mess. Filling the trans on my 330i sucked. I know I come here to steal your ideas 😊
Lol that's what the videos are for... Both good and bad ideas lol
@@TheInfamousProject yeah me adopting your perfectionist practices is severely slowing down my build🤣 but I've learned so much and knowledge is power 💪
First time ever that there are only hatches in the shop? How is the coyote swap wiring vs a Terminator X on a SBF?
Weather is starting to break here in Maryland I was motivated to get my car done by the chocolate fox but now it's Carlisle and American Muscle. At 50 I'll be attending my 1st Ford show🤣 I had a derale trans cooler with a fan on my supercharged 06 gto up front and was running 220. Changed to the tru kool 40k truck cooler and they never went over 195. You're correct if you run a fan on the trans cooler it needs to be in the back of the car.
What long tube header mid pipes are those?
Is that a new crate engine or a junkyard engine? They won’t prime the oil system on their own if it has been completely emptied. When I had my Gen-1 apart I pressure fed/filled the engine at the oil pressure sensor port. They run a lot of oil pressure. I have one here now with 325,000km and it still has around 40psi at hot idle.
Junkyard
Unless you changed the oil pump or pump gears it should still prime itself then.
@@stuartburke383 I did the OPGs.. you'll see in the next video what's up
