Those of us in the UK are in awe of how much land even the most average home has in the US. The most average, humble small house in the US has more garden in front of it, and behind it, than a posh 8 bedroom house in an outter suburb over here. What's more your residential areas are not surrounded by tall, monstrous municipal buildings like we have in the UK. Which is why we were bothered and amazed when we watched several State side youtubers showing us huge food stores closing down, leaving them feeling destitute and desperate. These people were tearing around in their cars, searching for stores selling sustenance! It never occurred to them to use their amazing garden real estate to grow food!? Yet here we are on a tiny island, watching you and growing greens, root vegetables and fruits from our containers on our city apartment BALCONIES! 😮
@@leadfarmer73 That's right. We used to do family hosting, and all our visitors from the States were shocked by how small and restricted everything is in the UK. And not enough land to feed the nation. Thank you Uncle Lead.
@@LC1-958 Wow! I lived abroad in Europe for 7 years but never made it to the UK only because its so expensive. However, you're right, even the smallest homes here have front and usually backyards. America has done a great job of crippling people. They've brainwashed citizens since the 60s to rely on supermarkets and the government to feed them which is Nuts! Americans all had victory gardens during WWII and Vietnam but now will starve if the stores cl is set down for a few weeks. Most homes here have enough land to grow their food all year but they must reeducate themselves. I started growing in chicken feed bags and over a year built raised beds using scrap lumber from old fences. I build more as lumber becomes available. I commend you for growing in pots on your balconies. 🙏

With the prices skyrocketing and still going up is insane. I would keep the house for now. People that sell will end up in a smaller home and owe more on it.

I watered for well this year and I put lime powder on them because I thought that it would solve my problem. What and I'm doing wrong. My Kale greens came up picture perfect. The bugs did not touch them at all. Now my husband and have to throw them away. Need your expertise on this situation please. I've had a garden for about 40 years because my grandmother told me why it is important to have one she was right. Thank you for your wisdom and common sense in the last few years.🤗🤗🤗 I love you and your beautiful queen. I'm still in the learning process of gardening every year. So hopefully you can pass a little wisdom or advice I would deeply appreciate it so I can be ready next year. 💃🏽I traced my genealogy back almost 100 percent positive to the “Wylies of “Wyland” in Fairfield S.C and Lake Wylie. I have copies of the original wills of my ancestors enslavers with my ancestors listed by name, age, ethnicity and dollar value 😢. I call myself “Survivor of the stolen” 🤔

What if your house value becomes worth half it's value over night? Ie... Next 3 to 5 years. A acre of land now in my area goes for 10 grand. 10 years ago it was going for 2300. Unrealized gains?????? How bout some unrealized losses!!!! Pay attention
I am not worried about making money with my home. I am worried about what can I leave my children when I’m gone. Screw capital gains. This is not about money. It’s about legacy. PAY ATTENTION‼️‼️‼️

Until they make a law restricting how many years property taxes should be paid after property pay off , we will continue to give to " their " cause. The way the laws are currently, you never own land out right. Taxed till you die and then they tax your.... A trust for land taxes would be a good option for those handing things down for the sake of legacy. We never know what the future holds nor the troubles our children will face after we are gone. It sure would make me turn over in my grave if my kids lost land over a small property tax that they could not pay for whatever reason. Keep doing what you're doing Mr. Lead. Respect!
