Zimbabwe’s new currency trading stronger than the rand - for now
Zimbabwe’s new currency, the ZiG, strengthened a day after its debut, the central bank said.
The currency gained 0.2% to 13.53 per US dollar, according to data published on the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s website on Tuesday.
The rand was trading at R18.47 to the dollar by 12h20 on Tuesday.

The argument was that the remission actually really reduced the President's sentence. This is what Advocate Mpofu put to the judges and proved it by case law. The matter was between the IEC and the MK PARTY. The MK argument was exhaustive and comprehensive. Let's wait for the Court Judgement.

Jacob Zuma should be allowed on the ballot as an MP, but is not eligible for a 3rd term as President. The law says nothing about finishing a term, only that you can do 2 terms (whether complete or not). He CANNOT run for a 3rd term!
