For those having trouble cleaning the gunk on the inside. I used a magic eraser dipped in vinegar water & it came it with very little scrubbing. :)
Will that not scratch the inside?

I use vinegar often on many things works like magic
Your Air Fryer is nearly brand new. Once you wipe it down enough times the letters rub off.
This method definitely does not work after a year or two of use. Ive found it best just to throw the racks the bottom tray and the door in the dishwasher. Yes the bottom tray will peel after awhile but I wrap mines in foil. The stuff that doesnt come off the racks after the dishwasher easily comes of with a little scrubbing with a dish washing brush. Sometimes I also soak my racks for at least a whole day in water with dawn and bleach and then hand clean them. The inside of this Air Fryer is a pain after a year or so of use. I use scented easy off and dawn with a scrub brush. It takes a couple applications but it works.
This is one of the best air fryers out there I dont know how people can use those basket/bucket air fryers they are not the same. I have yet to use the fry basket or the rotisserie just havent felt the need.

Pro Tip: for bacon or other foods that create a lot of grease or drippings, I cover the bottom in tin foil with high sides, and just remove once cold. Otherwise the excess liquid does flow out the bottom. Hope that helps someone!
I wrap the bottom tray with aluminum sheets and it is perfect because you just change the foil and thats it.
just purchased this and first use I did too. No issues but thenI read not to use aluminum so I am confused.

Just what I was looking for as my aunt just gave me a Power XL model air fryer that looks similar to this one, and I’ve made Chinese BBQ in it, which uses a marinade that uses a super, super thick sugary syrup called maltose, which caramelizes and is super sticky, char’s quickly, and I was wondering how to clean the shelves in particular. I covered the little drip pan with foil before I used the machine to keep the sugary marinade from crusting and burning on it. Thank you for making this video!!
Seen where someone asked the question if anyone else's leaks..? Mine has leaked every where. It's aweful. Not sure why it does. But love the air fryer. Lol. Thanks for the helpful cleaning tip. If I didn't find your informative video on cleaning, mine would never get cleaned lol. Thank you!
I do run water and dish soap through my door and rinse. Then I stand it up to dry 🤗

I’m extremely OCD about the inside of the door. Because no matter what, cooking debris and grease get in the middle of the door. Don’t be discouraged, I promise if you take it apart it goes right back together without a problem. Thanks for the video 👍🏻 was trying to figure out the best way to do the inside.

@@sandywhitehouse6202 just unscrew all the screws. Comes right apart, just be careful, the glass is loose. I promise, you will not break anything. =) just do it on the counter or on a table if you have worries.
Poor design on the door and where they put the openings that immediately allow food particles to fall inside the door. Ugggh!
It’s pretty easy to take apart. It comes out like new after cleaning . I’ve found if you put a paper towel on it before you take the racks out it stays cleaner
Wow yours cleans easy. I own a chefman and it as dark brown stains that look like grease. I tried soapy water and I even tried oven cleaner. The oven clean got some of it off but not all.

I guess my gunk is too baked on because there's no way that stuff is just 'melting right off' with soap and water. I have a Power XL air fryer oven and it is a nightmare.

Yes it's a complete nightmare. I have used brillo pads on it and oven cleaner. I just saw in a video that you are not supposed to use oven cleaner....smh

I could smell something in the house that was unpleasant. Thought it was my dog! But its the air fryer!!! Our son is the main user of it so now that I know how to clean it ill send your video to him. Isnt that so funny! We're in the same house but we text each other 😂. I guess that's normal.
On my Instant air fryer (door is also removable) I line the drip tray with Heavy Duty aluminum foil. Thanks for the cleaning tips!

How do you clean the fan part? That's where a lot of the grease build up the most
I’m guessing you need some air fryer safe foam stuff. But then it’s all gonna get stuck behind the mesh. And you can’t really rinse that part I’m guessing. It’s a burden lol
I've soaked my door in water, there's hole in top and on bottom of the door , the water comes right out.

How do you clean the basket cage? Mine has baked on grease & I can not get it off! It looks disgusting! HELP!
Awesome mine has the double glass on the door and crumbs n stuff get behind the glass bc the glass is off set the inside has a gap so like how in the world do I clean that 😂👍❤️💯
You might have screws to unscrew the panel to get between the glass
Love my air fryer so much the front handle broke off and I took the door apart and had to fix it. Now it will never do that again. lol
I recommend once a month clean. But we use our air fryer almost everyday!

Have this air fryer & absolutely have a love+/hate relationship with it. Cant stand the trays, they are super hard to clean despite being OCD about cleaning it after every use. The door part is weird(clear front part)& gets stuff on the inside. Have tried many things to get the grime off the trays, will try these tips.
Hahaha I feel you. I did a video on how to take apart the door and clean it if your interested. You'll be amazed at how much oil gets inside of the door. IMO they need to design a better model. I was tempted to get rid of mines or use it less to avoid having to clean it all the time. Thanks for stopping by.
My trays are hard to clean even if I be sprayed them with olive oil spray. I soaked them and still bad to clean.
@@debbiealtman4572 my trays have gone a horrible yellow colour even though I washed them straight away after each cook .Now I use silicone mats the ones with the holes for the air flow now nothing sticks and there easy to wash got them off Amazon

A soapy towel will not get a heavy layer of grease . I already tried that. Is easy off safe for air fryers?

leave the main working parts alone unless you have special cleaners to do it

I noticed her racks were absolutely spotless to begin with. How do you clean those racks when you used them several times daily? I know pitch them in the trash and buy new ones. That is just about the only way.
How can I get the racks clean? There’s baked on grease and they look yucky lol they’re disclored. Will oven cleaner work?
I used oven cleaner I let it sit overnight and the next morning after a little scrub they came out like new! I was pretty happy 😃

I've a different brand airfryer that looks EXACTLY like this one so I'm gonna check if my door can be removed aswell. I'm quite good at keeping the inside clean but ugh the door has always been the struggle haha.
Different AF but warm soapy water is not sufficient to remove baked on marks .Might be OK if you clean after each cook

Nice video. What do you use if there is food stuck to the airflow racks? That's usually my issue.

My issue too. I cooked small steak and it stuck. I wondred about spray of cooking oil. I tore up my fingers scrubbing it.
Unfortunately I was the guy who had to take the door apart in order to deep clean it after it being submerged in water overnight.
Nice job but the only thing concerns me is that the washing liquid molecules will sink into your food when you use it after cleaning as the chemical molecules can't be 100% wiped off literally

Rinse and repeat! Youll get them( soap molecules) all off of the inside of your air fryer,if you do it several times!

My wire racks get so gunky when I cook meat,egg rolls, etc on them. I have to take a toothbrush with Dawn and scrub it so many times. The air gets Dawn particles all in it & after I breathe it in, I cough for like 2 hours 😩

Hi, I noticed you have AJAX liquid soap on the counter. I hear many great reviews and recommendations using Dawn liquid soap have you ever tried using Dawn?
Yes I've tried it before. It works just the same as Ajax IMO. Nowadays I try to go with what saves me money. Dawn is cool, but too expensive for my budget plus my kids will just end up overusing it🤷🏾♀️

Whoops, I already put the door in water. I think I am going to have to take it apart anyway, the grease was already inside the door and I couldn't think of any other way to soak the inside.

Be VERY careful with the amount of water/liquid you use when cleaning the inside of this style of oven as I killed mine! Some brands have a switch under the floor near the door hinges that doesn’t like to get wet. My electrician hubby fixed mine, but it was still a bit pricey to replace the part. Now I’m super careful when cleaning the oven. It works great though, and I now only use my big oven at Christmas.
What about grease inside the door the one with fence in the buttom how you remove the grease from there?
What about getting stubborn bacon grease off the inside walls that's been there for awhile. Do I still only use hot soapy water? Thxs

No I didn't spray it with anything. I'm not sure if it's a non stick surface but it does wipe clean pretty easy
