PETERBOROUGH MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM
The unique town of Peterborough is in South Australia’s Mid North approximately 250kms from the state capital of Adelaide. After doing a couple of laps around town we found the old church that houses the motorcycle museum we were looking for. It had been recommended to Finchy by a friend who has a similar interest in old motorbikes.
The museum is a credit to the owner who has built up the collection over many years. He told us the Peterborough Motorcycle and Antique Museum opened in 2008 with a focus to introduce a collection of motorcycles not seen or heard of much in Australia.
If you are into bikes this collection is certainly worth seeing. As well as motorcycles there is quite a lot of memorabilia and antiques to see.
