People sometimes overlook how visually great this game is by Nintendo 64 standards. Its cartridge was even plus sized to fit all the details like moving mouths and individually rendered fingers (as opposed to the "brick"), not to mention all the voice samples. Some have said it's even good enough to pass for a (very) early Dreamcast or PS2 title.

I would say it could even pass for a Dreamcast game that is in the midst of its lifespan. The visuals and voices are so much better than the ones in Sonic Adventure.

T-BOI I’m not gonna lie. Batula scared the crap out of me when I first watched his boss battle as a kid. The way you defeat him isn’t pleasant either. You have to sacrifice villagers and feed Batula with their blood in order to have him fall to his death in the grinder. Honestly, this was very disturbing. 😨😨😨

For an old school mature type game, this is pretty good. I think my favorite enemy boss is the little girl with the experiment. I can easily tell she's a reference to the exorcist girl. But the part where she says "You little *censored*..." on the game is hilarious 😂
You probably know this by now but the ENTIRE GAME is an overload of references. Kinda like shrek 2, it’s dated for the overload, but timeless for the balls and the originality.

@@SuperTroop2311 as crass as this game is, there was a VERY tasteful wit about it. Something in short supply today. You could even see it in that conker family reunion abomination. Where as the original sort of designed levels around movie parodies while still being respectful to WHAT they were paying (haybot being kinda intimidating as ridiculous as it looked, getting up the beach like saving private ryan being legit horrifying, etc) conkers reunion wasn’t just more “in your face” about it, it was entirely in your face. “oh pulling out the trope already ok lets get this over with.” Felt less like conker and more like bubsy.
Hell Pie is the same tone as this game and it came out last year in 2022

Best game of my life!, awesome soundtrack, awesome story mode, bosses, cinematics, MULTIPLAYER that makes you laught so much.... and NO DLC's

I can deal with the way the new conker games look, and the way conker looks (Im referring to Conkers Big Reunion), but the only thing i cant deal with is them trying to make the games kid friendly, like the creators of the current conker games even play the original? It honestly makes me sad when i see the new conker, because i grew up playing conkers bad fur day, and its one of the best games ive ever played.

Fun fact the first stand alone conker game was conker pocket tales and it was a kids game where you have to collect presents and party invitations. I however really enjoy conkers bad fur day and the big changes it brought to the character of conker. But any kid friendly stuff is the series just returning to its roots
