    Suggestion...take a 3 day family road trip back to California in your truck or a rental truck. Settle into a rental rv for the duration of treatment. Take advantage of the carers for your property. California doc is your best option. Nothing comes without hard work and hard decisions....plus.....Phil's stress levels will go way down after seeing his California friends and laughing a lot.

    Longtime follower and fellow IVF miracle baby mama.
    I’m going to share how my husband and I entered our IVF journey. We said we would do everything we could to complete our family, so that when we were 80 years old sitting on our porch in our rockers talking about our life we regretted nothing.
    I now have 4 IVF miracles.
    My take is Option 1! Do it! It’s 3-4 months in the grand scheme and your farm will be well maintained and there for you when you return. You can do this!💙💗

    Hi, just in case this has never come up, please look into embryo adoption. It's a real option that almost no one I've spoken to is aware of. I know you want to be pregnant and I know you love all children despite not being yours genetically. This seems like a great fit for you

    Have you all considered fostering? My husband and I fostered before we found out about infertility and got to give children a safe place to land while things were figured out with their first families. Two of our fosters turned into adoptions and our family is now complete. You all could be such a blessing to kids in foster care and their first families. It could really let your love multiply.

    I totally watch for Phil as much as Alex. I feel like Phillip is such a “pastor” soul and would like to spend an afternoon contemplating life with him. I’m a long time follower and love your whole family! I pray daily for you to find the answers to grow your family. You are such wonderful parents and need more wonderful people to nurture into adulthood. I love your homesteading and it seems like your Tenn life is your dream. I hope you find a way to fly out because I think the Cali doc is your best bet and it needs to be a priority due to Alex’s age. But I will pray that God sends you the best answers for you. ❤️🙏🏻❤🙏🏻

    I feel as though it’ll be a bigger regret not going more so than you’ll regret leaving your homestead for a while. I don’t underestimate how difficult this decision must be and how much planning will have to be done, but in the long run you’re more likely to regret not going to the dr you trust sooo deeply than being away from your fur/feather babies back home.
    You guys will make the right decision for you and your life will fall how its meant to regardless of how the next few months/years go 💗 sending so much courage, guidance and strength your way

    I've heard amazing things about Southeastern Fertility Clinic in Knoxville, Tennessee. It's a Christian fertility clinic (the only one that I know of in the USA). The head doctor also co founded the NEDC (National Embyro Donation Centre), which is next door to the clinic. The NEDC's vision is "To share the love of Christ through the life-affirming process of embryo adoption while striving to place every donated embryo into a loving home. We will be a beacon in the darkness showing the love and respect due to these cryopreserved human embryos since they represent the very least of us. We look forward to the day when the responsible practice of reproductive medicine will render our services unnecessary."

    Option 4! I had an "incurable" (according to the specialists of Western medicine) disease for 2.5 years that left me in pain every single moment at only 24 years old. I flew out of state 4 times over the course of 4 months to see a specific holistic doctor that had helped people who had what I had. It completely healed. It was so worth it! I have kids as well.

    I’ve been going through a lot since December 31st when I lost one of closest friends to Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma). It’s been incredibly difficult to pick myself up and carry on. Throw into that mix several other very stressful events and I’ve been wondering what the hell my purpose is if I even have one.
    Watching this video and hearing Alex say “I love you” truly touched my heart. It reminded me of the amazing community we have here in the Phil and Alex family. I had a brain tumour removed almost 5 years ago. I received so much support and love from this community. In fact I don’t think I would have made it through without everyone’s support and kindness.
    I hope we can get that community back and that I can someday be there to support someone else with what they are going through.
    I just love that nobody is excluded in this community. It doesn’t matter if you are dealing with infertility, or you have some other reason for being here, we are all welcome. We are all embraced and accepted, we all matter!
    Thank you Philip and Alex for providing the foundations that allow us to come together, support each other and make us feel that we are never alone. 🥰

    Suggestion, fly back and rent a RV to live in for 3-4 months. Let the farm sitters take care of your animals. It takes the stress off Philip driving across the country and having to maintain your RV but you could still take short trips in the rented RV. And it sounds like it would be a blessing for the farm sitters as well as your family. Even if you had to be gone for the whole 9-10 months, Buttercup will still be there when you return.
    Take it from a childless, almost 42 year old, (motherhood unfortunately wasn’t on the cards for me) you really should follow your heart and grow your family while you have such a perfect set of circumstances lining up to give you this opportunity. Farm sitters are willing to step in and Dr Hatch is 200% your best option. You’ve never seemed as supported with the local options. At the end of the day, listen to your heart and do what will be best for your family. 😊

    To Phil and Alex,I've been part of your journey since the day you brought sweet little ( not so little now lol ) home. I love your channel so much and it has given me so much joy and hope. Don't get me wrong there have been some really really gut wrenching times thrown in for good measure, but you guys have pulled me through. A little background I was told I could never conceive or carry a baby, well my body decided that was not an option so out of 12 pregnancies I was blessed to get, I ended up with my two beautiful mircles Thomas Oliver who is now 20 years old and Jennifer Kember awho will be 18yrs old next month. Sadly after having Jennifer Kember I was told I neede to have a hysterectomy, which broke my heart. But so did losing all my precious possibilities of babies. And I didn't know what to do. So I prayed like I never prayed before. Then it came to me another pregnancy would take me away from my two miracles so I made the hardest decision I think I'll ever have to make and when Jennifer Kember was 1and 1/2 years old went to the hospital bawling my eyes out. Then a kind nurse said "Why are you so sad? I told her my situation and she said but you have a boy and a girl and they are the biggest blessing and need their mum here with them to bring them up the right way. After that she prayed with me and a wave of peace came over me that I had never felt before. I believe it was God telling me everything was going to be ok and this is what needs to be done. I'm so sorry this is so long. But thankyou for getting me through my hardest times. Sending you all my prayers and best wishes from Karalyn Laurette from Perth Western Australia. 🦋🌸🕊🐞🐝🌹💞🐣🐥💝💏🥀🌻🌷🤗

I was only able to get pregnant once and have a wonderful 35 year old daughter and 2 grandchildren, I’m so thankful for the blessings they are but like y’all I wanted to have more children. Ivf wasn’t an option for me back then. I pray that whatever option y’all choose works out quickly and that if it’s God’s will there will be more little Alex and Phil’s running around on your homestead. I currently live in Arkansas and has planned on moving to Tennessee and retiring on my now ex husband family farm. I wanted to start a homestead like yours but That dream is now over, been divorced for a few months and I’m trying to figure which of my options to choose. Just knowing others are going through the same kind of thing helps. I love y’all and pray for y’all daily.

    My husband and I live in Alaska and we don't have any fertility clinics here for IVF. I have two IVF babies and have done two egg retrieval and four transfers. They all had to be done in Washington which is about a 3 hour plane ride away. I had my monitoring done locally by either my OB or a ultrasound tech. My fertility doc just gave very specific instructions on what they wanted to see in the ultrasounds. And then I had to go to an expedited lab for same day results. It's quite a load on is IVF Mama's taking it on remotely, but it did make it to where I only had to spend about 11 days per retrieval in Washington, and 3 days per transfer. Just want to say if you have a huge desire to stick with Dr. Hatch, I would say it's worth the struggle logistically. In the infertility world, you need all the comfort you can get. Good luck!!

    Alex, I have PCOS this is why I subscribed to your vlogs and I'm so glad I did, you guys think the same way as I do and I do think homeopath who specialises in fertility is a great option and should be explored. Sadly I never conceived so I'm ñot the positive motivator here but I have experience and I remember one gynae did say to me in regards to my diet, anything that lasts more than three days (food) you should avoid, this gynae reckoned it was partially about my diet and I always remember this but your so organic and natural that wouldn't be a problem for you so maybe a homeopath might be your best option, besides there is nothing to lose trying homeopathy it is great for your health

    I can really relate to being able to discern with that inner peace that can only come from God. There have been a couple of times where I've absolutely had that with big life decisions. The first one was with choosing to do IVF after years of infertility--I had such a peace about it and absolutely knew it was the right decision. It brought us our daughter! The second time was when we felt called to leave Colorado, but we kept hitting walls on where to move. We considered nearly every state (including TN!), and one day it was like God opened my eyes to Indiana. Everything fell into place after that, and it was wild how instantly it felt like "home".
    God will make a way if you're feeling led to go to California! Do you have different family/friends you all could stay with for a couple weeks at a time while you're in CA? I also liked the idea of renting an RV while you're out there to avoid bringing the RV and dealing with breakdowns along the way. Praying your path is made straight!!

    I mean NO unkindness. I am having trouble understanding the angst about becoming pregnant again. I too had infertility issues, and once I finally had a baby, my feelings were resolved. You have 2 beautiful adopted daughters, and 1 biological daughter. You have completed the circle of life. And Cassidy seemed to have congenital heart issues. You were able to breast feed, you experienced pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I cannot understand going through all the infertility treatment, etc. again. You probably know that you have an increased risk of ovarian cancer with all the ovarian stimulation. God HAS answered your prayers. You have an interesting life. Maybe you have the answer to your prayers.

      @@taniaw73 No, I have been watching them since they were in California and not even pregnant with Cassidy yet. I have thought this for a very long time, but just didn't make the comment. It's getting harder to believe they are still not content and keep spending time, energy, emotion, money, time away from their beautiful daughters, etc. IVF is not a benign procedure. I wonder if they have considered it may be an obsession, not a healthy wish.

    • @meghanf2012
      @meghanf2012 Рік тому +18

      I hate to say it but I agree as well. It becomes an obsession and every minute spent thinking about fertility treatments, preparing for them, undergoing them, etc. is time out of your everyday life and time with your kids. The three kids are beautiful and they have a wonderful, privileged home. I just can't understand not being content with that and wanting more. I think they're going to look back 40 years from now and realize that they weren't fully present and threw away some of the best time of their lives as they were obsessed with trying to conceive.

    • @iftheteafits
      @iftheteafits Рік тому +2

      She is still breastfeeding. Just an aside to your comment. But to me it was clear because of her infertility, she was going to cling on to that and find it hard to let go. She was obsessing over it even when Cassidy was struggling to thrive. It was such a focus in a lot of her vlogs at the time. Gloating about it almost.
      I thought it distasteful and I didn't suffer from infertility so I can't imagine how those who do/did felt while watching those videos. Some things don't need shoved in your face and she made such a big deal about something that's so normal and natural.

Alex, I can say, I know what you are feeling with wanting to grow your family, having road blocks in the way, and feeling like your body is failing you, because I feel that way a lot lately.. Infertility sucks! Whatever you decide, I will still be here to support you, and your family. Also, I will still be praying for the family and sending love your way. Lots of love, and hugs!

    Have never stopped praying that God brings a precious baby into your life without need of medical intervention (on the conception side) I know He’s able! That being said I love that you have all these options and I’m believing that another child is in your future. That precious little boy God has picked out for you! With your sweet and headstrong nature and Phil’s laugh! I believe it in the name of Jesus!
    I don’t struggle with infertility, but I do love that it’s “family friendly” content and that your family values align with ours! I would love to homestead one day but currently live in an HOA and can’t but soaking in all the knowledge you give just in case “one day maybe” comes true
