Taken on April 8th, 2022.
Well at least something to watch. The incident at 36th Street in Brooklyn was scary. That is a station I pass by often.
Same six cars that were last seen in The Joker more than three years ago. 9586-9587 were last repainted for the 50th anniversary of the World's Fair in 2014 and the paint shows.
I grew up riding the Redbird. To the 4 And 7.
@Lighthouse in the Storm I remember riding the Redbirds on the (2) & (5) line and at times I rode them on the (4) & (6) lines during the 1980's and the 1990's too. At that time the twin towers of the World Trade Center were still standing in Lower Manhattan. I remember going to the top of the South Tower or tower 2 back in the 1990's. I miss the old New York City.
finally something nice what happened at 36 was scary
There was a terrorist attacking Brooklyn on the 36 Street station
Probably terrorism. This city is becoming unacceptable.
yes
Tell me about it.
@@cliffpadilla5871 ok so some guy threw down a smoke grenade, then pulled out a pistol, and shot 14 people wounded
Absolute classic train car set. Loved those growing up. Used to ride the front car and look out the center window to simulate the driver, sort of.
Memories.
I remember one morning the 4 came into the West Farms Square station as a legit 4. I’m like wtf? A 4 on the 2 line in the bronx?? We were all like 🤨. Later found out the 4 was rerouted to E180th for the weekend due to maintenance on the Woodlawn line. It’s extremely rare. Years ago, I sometimes saw the 3.
Childhood memories, I remember the Redbirds. The only time I rode the Redbirds was on the 7 line and the 4 line.
Dang, the fans must love using their app phones about the Museum trains from the Transit Museum in New York. Good video for me to watch tonight, DJ. : )
Low-V's, _and_ R33's? Damn, transit fans must've been spoiled last week
Nostalgia!!! Excited baseball fans!! I've ridden the redbirds many years ago.
Thanks DJH trains for airing this special operation.😀😀💙
wait, New York still has elevated tracks? Lucky!!
It was a really nice day on friday! thanks for using my clips!
Nostalgia intensifies
Knuckles at 7:05
AYYYYEEE
These sure could use a freshening up after all that running.
7:05 KNUCKLES!!!
6:57 super subway bros bro I haven’t seen him in a video in so long
Presumably TOMC going cheek to cheek with Lo-V in the centre track was for the photo opportunity? \m/
super nice video. thank you for the memories.
Look at all those railfans... I assume the set went from 207th all the way down to South Ferry and then looped onto the 5/4? Why couldn't they cut through the 42nd street shuttle?
There’s connection through the 42nd Street Shuttle. Before and after the renovation of the line, the tracks never connected to each other to allow for a train to go from the West Side to the East Side via 42nd Street.
This is near my father's place.
This looks like an R12 pulling the R33 Redbirds
Wow i love redbirds
so pissed about this. never was told or found ant info til yesterday. been waiting 15 years to ride the tomc last time was in 2007. on a fan trip. since i am leaving new york for good due to how bad it is. becoming. wish i got the chance 1 last time to ride the tomc. but at lease 2019 had the R1 9 many times parade of trains same year and many times on the low v cars. but wanted to take wife. this was our best chance. nice to know those cars can still run with the new system.
6:58 The Subway Bros
IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT SAW THAT
Hey, any update on Brooklyn?
Dj hammers, i also got a clip of that train sadly it was just sitting on the exp track at 161. Check it out if you want.
I would imagine if the standard almost of cars in each train is 6 and 4 cars long instead of 8,10 and 11 cars
Why did the Subway Car have a Diamond 4 Rollsign in this video?
The first one
The Time Where Everybody Foams The (1)
17:09 Where was that taken?
Birds... Must have gone around the loop at South Ferry.
wait, how do you chase the train around like that?
There are different individual recording the train at different locations
The redbird Subway cars should do a comeback but modernized in a bright red scheme and a red cardinal as part of the graphic.
If only it ran on the 7 line
Why only 6 cars?
Likely due to car availability. A full 10 car train would require two of the three following pairs as well: 9016-9017, 9068-9069 and 9542-9543. None have been on the road lately.
1:28 i can see your face
Man these trains need a paint job. They are starting to look bad
Last repainted for the 50th anniversary of the World's Fair.
No Met fans allowed on Yankee runs
He meant re-runs.
@@RedArrow73 What if i get onboard anyway :)
Hell yeah!!
I’m neither, I just went there for the TOMC and the Low V’s 🤷♂️
Hate the Yankees, but this is pretty dope.
