Congratulations for another interesting and absorbing interview. I am not a musician but I love classical music and it is a part of every day of my life. I was wondering if you, as a professional musician, play for the sheer joy of playing, rather than as a learning exercise or in preparation for a performance? Do you listen to other professionals? Do you have preferences or models you like to listen to or learn from?
You have been an inspiration to me since your earliest days on UA-cam and I never miss your interviews or other log entries. I take great pleasure from watching your growth as a musician and as a mature and responsible human being. You are a shining light in these days of gloom so I hope you keep it up.
