Love seeing your progress! I’ve been playing for around 8 years and I have to say that I am so impressed with your bow (right) hand!! Most people struggle so much with getting the proper bow hand and wrist technique. You built such a good foundation from the first month and on! I was so happy to see at the end when you were using the whole bow too rather than just playing at the tip. I hope you continue to enjoy playing this beautiful instrument for years to come!!
That was really interesting to watch. Thanks for the upload. You put a lot of work into studying violin and it did pay off. You’re doing great. Have fun with your violin. Musically greetings from Romy, Germany🎻.
Thank you for your musical greetings from Germany! I think that I did not study much, but consistently, which is also not bad. But I definitely need to do more!!!😂😂
yes, this is true, because in the first year I practically did not play the violin. I studied with a tutor once a week and that was it, and in the second year I already entered a music school and played almost every day for at least an hour. The teacher explained how to hear false. And in recent years, I began to skip classes more often due to lack of time
I also often heard from teachers that “breakthroughs” happen in music, just like in sports. When you don’t succeed for a long time, even with constant practice, and then you suddenly achieve what you wanted, because you realized something very important. (but this does not apply to my period from 1 to 2 years, because there, really, everything was decided by the time of practice and change of teacher. I was afraid that I would be expelled from school, so I tried very hard to play purely hahahahaha) What I mean is that non-linear progress is normal. There are sharp rises or rollbacks and this is also normal
Of course you will achieve it. You will achieve more if you practice more often than I do. On the violin, a lot depends on the time of practice. The longer you play, the better the work you do, the better you will play. All my very good friends are violinists who play solo parts in an orchestra, practice starting from 3 hours a day and they play excellently
It’s crazy. I’ve followed your telegram channel for quite some time now and you are quite literally insane (in a good way of course). Violin, exams, music school, English, university - you nail it all. You put so much effort in, and it really shows. Juggling so many things and keeping up with all of them is something you really should and deserve to be proud of. Keep it up and best of wishes :)
Thank you! Yes, I studied with a teacher from the first year. In fact, I think that the violin is very difficult to learn to play without a teacher. Sooo difficult! I always have so many questions about what to do, which the teacher helps me answer

Interesting how at around 2 years your intonation and tone has tremendously improved! Progress definitely is not linear!
