Thanks for this video! I had inverted kite a couple of times and it was always situation that evolved badly, the last time I released the kite leash... Now I pay attention of always having line tension and prevent the kite to fall into the water.
I hope that you will remember what to do if you again loose the lines tension and your kite ends up in one of those situations. Nothing difficult to do but you have to remember how to do it correctly and safely :))
In inverted kite position (and light winds), it can help to pull in your front lines, until the kite flags out. But be sure to not wrap any lines around your hands or fingers, and be prepared to let go at any time... usually works for me.
Hello, Interesting, so when you get inverted kite you pull on the front lines so that the kite “flags out” does this mean it would land in beach position first and then luckily turns?
You want to pull what ever back line if the kite is straight in front of you in the power zone. if the kite is on the side of the edge of the wind window, 3 or 9 oclock, you want to pull the higher line.
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Thank you! My kite inverted 2 days ago and I thought if I pull the QR that it will sort itself out. That didn't work. Next time I will try this.

@@kitesurfexperiencebypetarI guess it Will stall down and loop Itself between the front lines.
How do you know which back line to pull?
