    These are done by pounding method... Old way of making ladus..Need some muscle power 💪 but it's worth it...The taste of these ladus are the best ever...
    This recipe is from my Grandmother passed down to Mom then me...
    You can adjust dry fruits and nuts according to your wish..I love these ladus filled with roasted Daal and nuts...
    Quantity : 60-70 ladus approximately
    Ingredients:
    Brown/Matta rice 1 kg
    Jaggery 1 kg
    Dry coconut 5 pieces
    Roasted Bengal gram 100g
    Cashewnuts 50 g
    Raisins 50 g
    Black til 100 g
    Cardamom powder 1.5 tbsp
    Salt water 1/4 cup (2 tsp salt + 1/4 cup water)
    Making Jaggery water :
    Boil around 100 g Jaggery with one cup water for 15 minutes on low flame...No need to get one string consistency
    Notes:
    1. Pounding Jaggery takes long time ....there should not be any lumps in pounded jaggery ..
    2. Some add fresh coconut but the ladus do not last for many days
    3. Adding little Jaggery water helps us to form ladus easily.. you can avoid if you are able to form ladus just like this.
