      It's wonderful to have you with us, Maria, and we are delighted to hear that you love your on-line classes! California might seem a long way from Portland, Oregon, but it really isn't and we will continue to be here for you as you move through your program. Many students find a way to spend some time in Portland either in a week-long course or for workshops here and there. As things improve in the world, that may be true for you too, and we would love to see you in-person when you find the time. Please take care and know that we want to support your studies and help you do what you love. Thanks for watching our Tulip Tuesday Tip, and hope to see you very soon. Have a lovely week working with flowers!

    What is the temperature of a flower cooler?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  3 роки тому

      That's an excellent question, Brenda! Most flower coolers generally range between 34 and 36 degrees Fahrenheit although some cycle higher at 38 degrees. You probably know this already but some tropical flowers should not be stored in the cooler as they don't do well at the lower temperatures. We hope this information helps and we always welcome your insightful questions. Thanks so much for joining us today and we look forward to having you with us again soon. Best wishes for your wonderful weekend!

    Would you spray the Crowning Glory first? Dry, then put in chamber?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  3 роки тому

      What great questions, Marlow! Yes, spraying it first is a good way to lock in the moisture that the flower already has. This tip will help keep it fresh until the party or prom. Thanks so much for joining us today and we hope you will continue to watch our Tulip Tuesday Tips and other shows. Wishing you all the best and please have a lovely week!

    Is it ok to leave them longer than overnight or will the moisture cause problems on the flowers?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  3 роки тому

      That's a great question, Aimee! Yes, you can leave it longer, but just make sure that your paper towel isn't too wet and the flowers aren't sitting in water. The goal is to give them a little humidity to help them stay fresh and beautiful. Thanks so much for watching our show today and we do hope to see you very soon. Wishing you a wonderful week and please be well!

    Can i stick my boutinnere or corsage in my fridge? Im planning to diy my flowers for my wedding in a few weeks.

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  3 роки тому

      That's a great question, Amber! You can but it might be a little too chilly for it so do check the temperature of the fridge to see what it is. Also if you can put it into a box or bag with a little moisture that would help too. Using Crowning Glory and letting it dry first might also help seal in the moisture as well. You might want to make a practice one and put it in the fridge to see how it does before you do your final project. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch our show today. We are so glad you joined us and hope to see you again soon. P.S.
