Frank Lloyd Wright was a huge influence in the development of architecture, especially in his home state WI. Southwest WI has the original Taliesen he designed for his drafting school and always tried to work with nature instead of disrupt. There’s full neighborhoods in Milwaukee with houses designed by him. Definitely look up more about him because he has quite the crazy story for sure.
I’ve had the chance to visit one of the homes he designed and was blown away by how unique, organic and and intricately detailed the design was. There wasn’t a single piece of drywall in the house. Every wall was either stained woodwork or stone. He designed a 2-story deck off the back of the house overlooking Lake Michigan, that originally included a helicopter pad. Several of the homes he designed in southeast Wisconsin alone are protected historical buildings now
@@lllavish There's an absolutely stunning Frank Lloyd Wright house called Westhope for sale in my city (Tulsa). I've always wanted to go tour more of his work, especially famous ones like Falling Water, Taliesin West, and the Rosenbaum house.
Kudos for actually talking about and learning more about Frank Lloyd Wright's legacy; one of the true American pioneers. You can visit and sometimes rent Frank Lloyd Wright houses across the country since he has projects in 39 of the states in the US. That's the brilliance of this Kith project, and your video: spreading the legacy of a real giant to an audience that may not know FLW.
I use to work at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC, which FLW designed. If you ever have a chance to visit NYC, make sure you stop by the museum. It’s a dope design which spirals.
Awesome video! FLW is arguably the greatest American architect ever and unquestionably one of the most influential. Half a century before "green design" and "sustainability" became buzzwords, he was creating homes that were inspired by and worked harmoniously with the natural environment in addition to being bold and innovative from an aesthetic and structural perspective. As an architect myself, I love seeing his work honored in such a great way. Props to NB and Ronnie for absolutely killing it with this colab. Both pairs are🔥🔥🔥
I got these too, in the same colorway! Love them as well, the colors and placement just beat anything Nike/Adidas do. Better use of the money than some regular Jordans imo. For those reading, try actually wearing something other than Nike/Jordan and Adidas, especially if you claim to like or be into shoes.
Passing on these might be this year’s biggest regret for me. Had the chance to get the other colorway on the New Balance website, and just didn’t push through with it because these retailed at 250€ or something.
For anyone interested in the subject I highly suggest to see the waterfall house of FLW as an example for the choices of colour chosen. Wright has been a magnificent architect and his story is one of the most incredible ones to date. If you like architecture or design you have to see his works they're inspirational
Kith drops some dope colors and collabs. The Spring 101 NB 993 is in my top 10 of the year so far. Glad I was able to get it. I wish KITH applied some sort of branding on their collabs.
These are a really dope concept. Frank Lloyd Wright is a legend and both shoes were done well. I heard of some QC issues, but don’t have any on my “Chutney” pair. While I would say TTS, they fit a tad longer than the Teddy Santis 990v2 collabs.
These are so nice! And the story behind them is pretty rad also, drop a like on the vid if you enjoyed!
Nice

Wright has a huge influence and footprint here in Buffalo NY. One of his homes is now a landmark and museum which people visit year around.
so cool! I didnt know that
I was working at the VA in Buffalo and that’s where I first fell in love with FLW. Even the row house is amazing!!!!
