Seeing colors for the first time wearing Enchroma sunglasses for color blindness

- This is a lot for me to take in seeing colors and how they should look after all these years.The colors that affect me the most or red ,purple ,pink,green ,and blue ,the experience for me has been overwhelming after taking in the colors.For me it’s like taking things off n for the first time again ,asking questions on colors to my wife ,explaining to people what I see with and without the glasses,this is a life changer for me and being able to visit places I love and seeing all these colors I took for granted.Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments 👍

Is an eye opening experience to say the least ,especially red and pink and purples are so different to me ,to see true colors is absolutely amazing ,I see green different than the normal person ,it’s more vibrant while all other colors are darker than what they really are

It’s mind blowing ,went out today hiking and it was magical seeing the moss and the blues I can see in the sky ,but the red and purple and pink are affecting me the most ,I see so dark and pale colors ,to see the basic red is unbelievable,pink lips and tongues were grey ish to me ,pigs were grey ,now I can see pink ,even blood ,it’s dark to me ,very dark red ,to see I scab now is even different ,red cats lol ,stop signs ,apples lol ,it’s all new 😄

@@DaysWellTraveled red to me is like orange to you but after my hike yesterday I see green more vibrant than normal people ,I take in more green through my retina and less red so green is very vibrant without the glasses

This was an awesome video bro. I remember when I discovered polarized glasses for fishing. And now I have a pair of Oakley‘s that have a color enhancing lens that I absolutely love to wear when I’m hiking. Some glasses interfere with your vision in different color lenses in different light conditions has always been an awareness of mine that is needed for optimum eye protection. I’m so happy that you love your glasses. Again, super awesome video. I hope this inspires others and I’m sure it will.

Will do Val ,life changer for sure with the sunglasses,funny thing is green is more vibrant for me than a normal person ,that’s the only advantage I have without the glasses ,for me that’s special ,but red and purple and pink is totally different than I always thought ,and I didn’t find out till 2015🤷♂️lol

Thanks Sharron ,it’s so crazy how different I see colors ,they are so dark to me and ,seeing peoples lips now and tongues are a totally different color ,to me pigs and lips and anything pink looks grey to me ,seeing pinks and purples and red and how it should look is mind blowing to me ,learning colors all over ,I loved it hiking today on the mountains ,I definitely stayed up on the peaks looking more and soaking in the colors

I am puzzled that Brian could get so far along in life without learning he was colorblind.
I can see color ,it’s just much darker color than you see ,anything with red is very dark ,orange for you looks like red to me ,red to you us very dark red to me

It still blows my mind when I put them on lol
@@brianandchewiegohiking I am watching so many of these video's of colourblind people seeing the would as I see it & adding them on my playlist. I remember knowing someone who told me he was colourblind. He died at only 70 years ago. The technology didn't exist back then.

An advert using $4 filter glasses. Refer to UA-cam clip describing fraudulent medical claims re FDA approval. So sad for purchasers as I too was taken in by the emotional responses.
It's too bad that after reading the info on color blindness, he didn't read the instructions about 'flipping' the glasses, and that he should keep them on for at least 15 minutes. Not flipping seems to be the main thing people who get these glasses ignore, making it harder to become sccostomed to the glasses.
The first thing the instructions say is "Don't flip the glasses up and down." The first thing these numb nuts do is to flip the glasses up and down.
AND NOWHERE IN THE DIRECTIONS IT SAYS NOT To DO THAT
Before you go calling people numb nuts make sure you know the facts first and don’t assume anything
