Such a beautiful, delicate technique. A true master of the guitar. Thank you Ced.

+jjoywest Wow... I had NO idea that's how you were connected... 'tho it's great to find that out. Thank you for watching and appreciating. I'd REALLY love to get hold of his "West meets East" recording somehow... I've scoured the WORLD for it. If it's even only HALF as much genius as this (and it'll be MUCH more than that, I'm sure!), I'd just love to hear his playing.

It was an unexpected pleasure this morning when a fellow member of a Facebook Guitar Group shared this this morning. He posted a picture of the Original LP Album Cover / Sleeve which he says he picked up at a charity / thrift store. Heard the whole thing. Couldn't stop listening. Thanks for sharing.

You're most welcome. My dad had a small reel-to-reel tape of this album when I was a teenager and the content and tone spoke to me profoundly. I lost track of it but bought a vinyl LP of it years later and put it up on YT. I've a second album 'East Meets West's which is just as good. It's phenomenally fantastic stuff and addictive listening!

Thank you for uploading this album, Jon. I've been listening to a multitude of guitar players since my teenage years and it was only yesterday when I did a 'Bach guitar' search on UA-cam that I came across Cedric West for the very first time. Wow, he was brilliant!! P.S. I also did some further research and found the 'Gypsy Jazz' page on Mr West before I discovered that you had mentioned it in your blurb. P.P.S. I have since listened to 'West Meets East' which on first hearing is also very good. Thank you again. All the best to you.

And yes, the drummer and bass player were excellent as you noted, as were the other guitar players. :)
