Very insightful and helpful info. As a new D3 player, learning as I go along, I appreciate your videos and your exceptional English language skills. Thank you very much! Cheers 🍻
Nice video i actually googled for pylons i noticed while trying to skip few bad maps trying to push no pylons spawned so i was wondering what's up, this helped :D
Been loving the tips and tricks. One question I have, is when does trash become more important? For speed runs (to ~100), its sprint to elites and just pop trash as you go, but for pushing (110+), trash seems to be far more important. When is the best time / break point for when trash becomes worth rounding up?
I started to feel the need to understand this once I got to gr 120 for the first time. Can't get it in time without pylons well used (I'm starting to know where they spawn and the general layout of the maps) and I can't figure out yet when to kill some elites and mobs or when to leave them behind (except Mallet Lords, those are always a pain unless you have conduit or shield)
Can you go over how and when you would actually want to use each pylon? I’m relatively new pushing with Necro and I have no idea what pylons I actually want or how to use them efficiently , especially with RG.
I did a video specifically on conduits, most other pylons are typically just "click when you see them" or "prepare a little bit and then click" (like shield/power)
@@wudijo Hey wudijo, im pretty sure its like above, 3% Pylon spawn chance added per 1% GR. U start with 1% in a GR and well, every 1 in 100 runs there will be a pylon at the beginning of the GR without you doing anything. I play like that, with the 3% per 1% rule and i feel its pretty accurate, keep in mind we talk about chances so anything can happen at any point. Some ppl think u get pylons every 33% in a GR - that is not true, but it comes from 33% x 3%(Pylon spawn chance) but when u find a pylon at lets say 20% GR progess, your next 99% Pylon will be at 53% not 66%. I hope that helps.
02:00 I don't understand this example. The second pylon was at 40%, the third was at 80%. Played made progress to 75% and you say that the second pylon is lost. But why is it lost? It is still not the time for the third pylon, so why is the second one lost? And why is it lost exactly at 75%? Why isn't it lost at like 50% or 60%? I thought the undiscovered pylon is only lost when you get enough percentage to the next one.
Hi, I have a great rift related question /issue that happens every time I am in a Specific Map during game play that screws me up every time. It is about Reviving when killed. If I choose the REVIVE at the LAST CHECKPOINT ,it always ends up sending me back to the Beginning of the Previous map I was in requiring me to traverse the ENTIRE map before getting back to the map I died in. In some cases it has thrown me back to like 3 maps before removing any chance to finish the game to the UTTER FRUSTRATION on my behalf. Could this be a glitch or is this by design by Blizzard? With all the other maps , If I die and choose the Last Checkpoint option I respawn at the beginning of the Map or the END of the last map allowing me to continue with the game without too much lost time. Has anyone out there experienced the same issue or is it just me and if so what I can do to correct this. When in this map I am FORECED to accept the TIME LOSS (5-30 secs)rather than Last checkpoint option, sometimes resulting in too much time lost thus ending any chance at killing the Rift G on time.
You should just be reviving at your body , you get a couple seconds to run away and get out of the mob. The only time I ever go to the checkpoint is if I need to repair but if you have a mobile enough class you can still spawn at your body, jump around a corner and teleport.
imho, you as a player shouldn't get punished for making progress too fast by the game making you miss pylons...that's BAD game design on Blizzard's part. I personally consider the current pylon spawning process in the game broken...
how dare u, Wudijo is a great guy. Hes just a real and that is what makes him very sympatic. stay the way you are bro, and shame on these 12 year old kids - unbelievable
So basically greater rifts are actively fucking you over and broken and not fun. okay, i get it now, greater rifts are for people who for some reason just desperately need to prove something. yuck

Triple saucer pylon becomes triple double horizontal lines
Who stands to gain from dam blowing up
Keep em coming Wud!

Where can I see all the gr maps layout with the possible pylon spawn location ?

Wudi. Isnt it 3% chance to spawn pylon per 1% you clear?
idk where that comes from but it can't be true when there are rifts with 3 pylons by 42% and 4th pylon at 92%
I see this mentioned quite often.

Had one spawn at 0% as i entered the GR, it was a festering woods map.
Sooo.... 0% - 99% ?

So can a pylon be spawned at 100% rift when RG arrived?
nope, but sometimes you might check around you for 1-2 screens because you might have gotten one offscreen before
Is there an official document from blizzard that explain that or this is something you constated by playing a lot ?
no official info
That video in the background, that’s real game speed?
No lol
10 150s in a row without a single pylon entire stage this game just hates me

Alles wird gut)
ja bruder)
That gameplay, ratruns make me dizzy and disoriented.
解说能稍微慢点儿吗?听不太懂哎
This is why i as a soloplayer dont care about leaderboards in D3, i have no chance against groupplayers doing ratruns.
Dude this is awful ten times I became two pylons on 150 , I hate this
Pylon spawn in GR is the shittiest design that adds unneeded randomness. Why not just give us a random power at PRESET progress levels? Done.
Wudijo u shoud wear something better for Stream :D or with Diablo logo. and a better Hair style with Gel. :)
Yeah something that would show a little bit of cleavage. That seems like the theme for every popular streamers
define something better
