i really appreciate videos like this as it also help me improve my game sense during a singles match. I hope more videos like this will be posted to help alot of players.
Hi Howard! Really appreciate the great content, I just have one tip, maybe turn the video sound down a bit, at certain points, your commentary is drowned out by the tournament announcers such as at 26:20
@howeezy All the analysis are really good and they are unique in youtube as I have never see professional player's detailed analysis like this. One suggestion though, maybe you can change the video title a little bit to include more relevant keywords and put match details in description. I think most people will not search these specific matches but with keywords like "badminton single game analysis" "analysis by professional player" in title the video may reach more audience.
Great video analysis. Jacob didn't seem to slow down even though your initial strategy was to play the long game and wear him out. But due to the nature of his high risk high reward style he made a lot of unforced errors. You both had complete opposite approaches to the game seemingly. Curious what shuttles do tournaments like these use?
1:04 from our angle, hard to see if the shuttle is out... but without awk eye, I guess you had no chance to obtain a successful "challenge" (or a change in umpire and line judge decision). 😕
its kind of funny, for the finals with the enrico guy u say "he doesnt like taking backhands so I hit to that corner a lot" then with this game u say "he likes taking backhands so i hit to that corner a lot" XDDD
These FULL match analysis videos are so rare, and for it to be such high quality for non-professional players is a double joy. Thanks Howard
Thank you! Appreciate the support!
Please continue making more videos like this. Game analysis at this level of play is so rare to come across.
Appreciate it a lot 🙏

That shout at the end, I felt that. Thank you for posting these, they are so insightful.
Sending love from Canada!
Love the thought process and tactics, but there are only 3 analysis videos I watched all of them, how wonderful it will be if there is more.
It's really nice to hear what you are thinking during a game and what you are aiming for. Very educational!
I learned so much from your videos.. watched a few of your videos for the past two days and i’ve learned so much😂👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks for the tip! I’ll pay more attention for volume spikes like that.
Howard, this is a formidable opponent. Too bad this umpire is not sharp and has lapses in judgment.

We actually played AS-50s here and the conditions were pretty decent.
even tho he get lot of net rolls and one line call, he also make quite unforced errors too tho.
Yes, he definitely plays a lot of high risk high reward shots

do you play 4u or 3u ?
Here I am playing the original Arc Saber 11 in 3u G5
第二个争议的确是出界了,这个比赛的裁判都比较业余;你的对手打的太着急了,失误太多,毁掉了比赛
