I'm finally getting to more of my match footage. This was my second round R32 at the 2023 US Adult Nationals against Jacob Zhang. There's always tons of adjustments that I make in a match so here I try and explain all my game-time thoughts. Enjoy!

Great video analysis. Jacob didn't seem to slow down even though your initial strategy was to play the long game and wear him out. But due to the nature of his high risk high reward style he made a lot of unforced errors. You both had complete opposite approaches to the game seemingly. Curious what shuttles do tournaments like these use?

We actually played AS-50s here and the conditions were pretty decent.

Hi Howard! Really appreciate the great content, I just have one tip, maybe turn the video sound down a bit, at certain points, your commentary is drowned out by the tournament announcers such as at 26:20

1:04 from our angle, hard to see if the shuttle is out... but without awk eye, I guess you had no chance to obtain a successful "challenge" (or a change in umpire and line judge decision). 😕
