This is pretty cheap as well, I'm not sure if its the cheapest RC sound kit out there. But it's certainly the Number 1 RC Sound kit in my opinion. Stereo Sound, watch with headphones - Розваги
When I first installed this unit on my LOSI Tenacity SCT, I figured it'd just be something cool to show other people. BUT, I was so blown away myself by how realistic it sounds, not to mention how loud it is, that I can't imagine running my R/C's without one. It really does add a whole new dimension to R/Cing!

@@TomleyRC bought 2 so far for both my axial scx10ii's, their brilliant, nearly as loud a my sound system in my tamiya tiger tank and that's 4 times the size of this speaker.

Can you describe how it performs when changing from Forward to Reverse? Do you have to pause when driving?
My ESS ONE+ will go to idle perfectly, but if I proceed to Reverse from Forward (and vice versa) too quickly it goes to idle and 'gets stuck'. That is, it fails to detect the throttle is being applied. To be fair it forces me to drive in a more scale fashion, as in 1:1 it takes a moment to shift from FWD to REV and we often ignore that scale effect.
Could this be run with a stock WPL battery? Really would love this in my wpl
Will it work with a stock slash 2wd vxl 3s controller just for the engine sound?

This old one came up whilst I was looking at Sound Systems....
This is by far the BEST sounding. ESPECIALLY when you rev it!!! That's where 80% of them fail, to me. On some, you accelerate and instead of hearing the Engine SPEED get higher - what you actually hear is merely the PITCH of the sound going up and down!! 😖

Is it possible to setup the Dixie horn sound to a stock Trx4 controller & channel box? I’ve got this on my Trx4 Bronco but am unsure on where to plug my Aux cable, & unsure on if I can setup the horn to my stock trx4 remote controller as you did with that one? If you have any info you could spare, I’d really appreciate it!! Thanks & great video!
To use the Horn you need a 3rd channel...or Aux. It's just a single cable that goes in to the receiver.

Tomley RC, Not a problem! 😬yeah I was thinking about getting into the receiver box and checking. I thought there might be 6 channels total. Not quite sure myself lol! Definitely a fun hobby, originally started out as something to do with my nephews, but has turned into a hobby for myself solo as well 😂 Had to subscribe regardless as you have some pretty awesome RC’s and some entertaining videos Sir! Looking forward to seeing more as time passes. I’ll definitely be staying tuned! 🙂

I water proofed it. Don’t recommend it for a stock one though

Yes it will be compatible. RCSparks made a video about waterproofing, but for some reason it has been deleted. I just took it apart and covered the electronics in few coats of conformal coating

The Dixie horns are cool, but please do some research on what it represents in the southern states of the U.S. just sayin'....
The Dixie Horns represent my Child hood, and I expect many others as well. We should concentrate on not repeating history, rather than trying to erase it.

Im not looking for cars, Im looking for a GENERIC SPEAKER that i can use to play quotes from a film...
Thank God for Amazon's return policy because I'm about to return my second one of these after the software bricked the unit. It worked fine until I went to change the sounds and the updates failed and deleted what was on there. Then I tried a factory reset and that also failed and bricked the unit the rest of the way. Now I can't even update the firmware because the software no longer recognizes and connects to the unit (and all of the this for the second time with a new unit). No advice or fixes or workarounds to be found online either. Such a shame because there's a ton of good reviews and lots of people getting great use out of it, but my experience is that it's absolutely garbage. 0/10 do not buy unless you're going to be happy with the factory preset sounds.=
