This might be a hot take... But when it comes to screaming and shouting, i like Hale's more than Taylor's. Hellena was great when Bayo was talking normally... But in shouts and screams, Hale is doing such a great job. It reminds me a bit of Bayo 1, Bayo used to sound more aggressive in her shouts, meanwhile in Bayo 2, for some reason Taylor went a bit soft with the screams and aggressiveness in combat. I like Hale's performance a lot.
it’s such a shame for Helena being problematic with how she handled herself on the whole VA 4K issue with platinum games, she is no doubt an amazing original VA for Bayonetta, though it’s such a shame she ruined her chances to redeem herself . Other than that, Jennifer Hale does an absolutely amazing job as Bayonetta and to be honest I hope to see more of her performance in future games. Also I know Viola is a bit of controversial character, whether you like her as a character or not, but any chance for some clean voice lines of her? As someone who heard Hale in her other medias (Mass Effect, KOTOR/SWTOR, ATLA. The main ones I know), Bayo 3 director did choose well with Hale. To be honest, I really thought that was Taylor before the bs happened. Hale stepped up to the mark and did a good job for a character who has a cult following.
Through the 5 hour cutscene movie and even in this I quickly forget the difference from the original voice even though I prefer Helena's rougher voice, but Jennifer did a great voice impression. Sounds like she literally got better after the first lines.
Hellena Created the concept, but after the way she behaved, she doesn't deserve to voice Bayo anymore. I love the sass and spunk Jennifer Hale gives the character. She breathes new life into the role, while still keeping her recognizable.

She was then offered a small cameo role for 4 grand, refused, then lied about it online saying that the 4 grand was for the whole game, and then tried to get people to boycott it saying it was unjust. (I’ll have to re look at the story but I’m fairly sure it was 15 grand. I do know for certain that the 4k for the cameo was final, and that she did lie about it. She later confessed on Twitter unapologetically, confirming this.)

This isnt really hurt fault but i hear Ashe in her battle grunts and its jarring tbh but on the other hand in the scenes where Bayo rips her heart out she sounds alot like Taylor Bayo imo
She does but it fluctuates at times? For the enochian invocations she sometimes pronounces them with an american accent when enochian a lot of the times sounds like some form of spanish when you read/pronounce it. Taylor did that and had like this sharp and comanding shout with the invocations that Hale sometimes doesn't quite get to. It's a personal preference but it doesn't carry the same weight it used to for me. Not that it's a bad performance from Hale's part by any means.
At least Jennifer Hale will have the opportunity to do better in later entries... Unlike Helena Taylor, who probably destroyed any chances for herself to land roles in the future in the VA industry due to this...

If I’m being honest with you, I prefer Helena Taylor because it’s easy for her to tap in with her natural British accent. Although, I don’t think Hale did a bad job at all. And it also would be nice if she could practise making her british accent sound a bit more normal because sometimes you can hear her normal accent, making the British accent sound a little forced. exactly what I was thinking. most of these lines sound good when you can hear them so clearly. even the battle grunts, which I wasn't a fan of in-game because they're so hard to differentiate between pained grunts and cries, convey effort and passion. but GOD does the sound mixing in this game not do Hale any favors.

Here's the thing. You know why Jennifer Hale has gotten so many jobs voicing game NPCs, especially customizable characters? Because her voice has no real personality to speak of. It's pretty much the most generic "female voice" you can possibly imagine. Which, for a lot of games, is great. But when she has to play a character with as much flavor and sass as Bayonetta, it comes across as cartoonish and fake, like she's trying too hard. To say nothing of the subpar British accent. Hale is obviously trying, but she just doesn't have it. Her voice isn't sexy or cool anymore; it's bad camp. Almost dorky.

Oh boy, when you said Jennifer Hale wasn’t fit for Bayonetta, that means you are attacking Jennifer Hale on emotionally. Some people love it, some people hate it. However, could you respect someone’s achievement? Why don’t you go to the studio and make Bayonetta new voice sounds perfect? You’re unbelievable. Here's the thing. You know why Jennifer Hale has gotten so many jobs voicing game NPCs, especially customizable characters? Because her voice has no real personality to speak of. It's pretty much the most generic "female voice" you can possibly imagine.
Which, for a lot of games, is great. But when she has to play a character with as much flavor and sass as Bayonetta, it comes across as cartoonish and fake, like she's trying too hard. To say nothing of the subpar British accent. Hale is obviously trying, but she just doesn't have it. Her voice isn't sexy or cool anymore; it's bad camp. Almost dorky.

Someone getting tons of jobs voicing different characters should be an indication of the amazing talent they have. Saying she gets those jobs cause her voice has no personality is honestly disrespectful to her.
Plus, her Bayo doesn't seem fake (at least to me and I'm sure to many others as well). She actually does a great job portraying the character. However, there's still obviously some room for improvement, especially, I'd say, nailing the British accent a bit more cause in SOME scenes it wasn't as noticeable, and well Bayo is supposed to have a very strong British accent.
Let's hear you try to mimic Bayonetta's voice then. You clearly underestimate Jennifer's skills. And also did u know Hellena Taylor's fame only came from Bayonetta? Besides it's not Jennifer's fault she doesn't have the same tone and quality as Hellena's. Besides she did a wonderful and majestic voice for our beloved Cerezita
