It’s honestly kind of sad how most Smash players don’t acknowledge her original games.
Naur when I heard smash had bayonetta I immediately became a bayo main

Actually smash bayo got me into playing bayonetta, I just loved her voice and fighting style

@@Ok-ks7qm Most characters look bad in ultimate compared to smash 4 like Shulk. Even some stages do like battlefield.
I mean if I remember correctly Sakurai stated for SSB4 they straight up ported her attack animations from Bayo2 to Smash. So it makes sense they'd animate the same here

Bayonetta is like the last character you’d expect to see in a game aimed towards children. Sure we had Snake in Brawl but the Umbra Witch? She’s basically an Anti-Nintendo character when it comes to tone and maturity. But I’m glad she’s here, and the fact that Nintendo saved Bayonetta 2’s development, the first game got a Wii U port, and the more recent titles are Switch exclusives has convinced me that she’s a Nintendo character at this point, she might as well be

On top of being taller than most characters already, she’s not really that much taller in comparison to characters in her world. She just got a small head lol
@@canbe1945 The adults in her game are really tall, comapared to the children they all look like within range 6'5-7'8. If the adults aren't really tall than that'd mean the children are VERY small, so I guess you have to choose which scaling you believe

@@shamelessmoose They were probably talking about their moves in Smash Bros since they are exactly the same and the costume doesn’t change that.

6:38 , actualy the witch twist(1) we see in smash is done using ZR+X in bayonetta 1 and 2 , the jump + X we see in the video is the 2nd witch twist bayo can do in smash (up b -> jump -> up b)

Her held Uair can also be done in-game by holding ZR, backwards L-stick and holding X

I thought the other way around, I like the smooth finish in ultimate and thought the purple lipstick from s4 was awful
Her face in Smash 4 looks like it's stamped on. They added more definition in Ultimate.
i just noticed in smash they let her posture be a bit more normal and not at a near 90 degree angle

A lot of these hitboxes seem "adjusted" from her OG game - > Smash. CAN'T IMAGINE WHY.
in smash they made the moves much smoother and less sensual, and faster, great examples are 1:58 and 1:01 as well with 1:09

It has an origin. Double press the stick in one direction with a kick
In the bayonetta game, use afterburner kick while descending.
