Hope you guys enjoy todays video! Don't worry everythings OKAY!!! This only helped me to use my prosthetics properly and allow me to live in less pain. It was a GOOD thing! This had to happen a year after my ampuation, I'm just telling y'all all about it today 😃Love you all SO much xx Follow my Instagram HERE -> instagram.com/kristiesita
Is the abridge app available in the 🇬🇧? I tried to download it but it said it wasn’t Such a great idea though as I always forget some of what my docs said. Thank you for such a great post 🤗🥰
@Hawaii Kidd it actually isn't a stupid question. I was born without my left hand and forearm. When I used to have fake nails that was the first thing people would ask. And if a nail place ever charged my full price I would go somewhere else.
In addition to bots (likely to keep ad revenue expenses down) some people accidentally press the wrong button sometimes without even knowing it. Also, if the video talks about someone who does something wrong/bad some people will thumbs down about that person, not about the video.
It's a judge of the video. Having one hand doesnt magically make everything you do something great and beautiful and amazing. Personally I dont see the problem with the video, but your only defense is about her hand, not the video presentation
i believe in you and i hope you have the best life you can possibly have!!!thank you for changing the world in your own special way thought inspiring everyone around you ….you really are a Godsend praying for you around the clock … much love . and luck!!!
Lost my left leg last year and had a second surgery to fix things on August 9th, 2019 and still healing, having a few issues and getting an Össus ProFlex leg that is Titanium and Carbon Fiber, so seeing doc Tuesday to have those issues dealt with, tomorrow. Have bruising where the surgery was done, but still wearing the older prosthetic leg. Any way thank you for your video. my fibula bone was sticking out, and doing something similar like your arm to my prosthetic and they had to cut it to fix it, and grind the bone down. Any way, doing much better even though have some major bruising, but nice to know others go through stuff like this and survive, thank you for the video post on how you are dealing with amputation. Nice to see how others deal with these obstacles in life. Have a beautiful day.
I honestly didn’t know there where follow up surgeries for amputation. I assumed bone would be cut down to some standard shape to fit potential artificial limb. I suppose it makes sense to have that as a secondary thought when issue that caused need for amputation is likely very severe and is main focus.
There are no words in the English language to describe how incredibly cute you are.😊 I also wanted to share one of my favorite verses, Phil 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. You have been blessed to be a blessing. 🤠*Big huge hug from Texas.*❤
You have such a lovely personality. You're a very mature 16 year old, I though you were a little older actually. I see great things for you in life. Your dog is so adorable also. :)
I'm impressed by how well you've coped with losing your hand and how you've had such a positive attitude. Not just that, but you even have a sense of humor about it all and show that life is still rewarding and happy. 👍
Hey Kristie, if You ever recieve hate remember this: Haters only appear because You are succesful, they never appear for people who do nothing. Love you ❤️❤️
Whatever happens, I wish you good health and safety, they may need to cut more or take this or heaven forbid you need anything else , it wouldn't matter because your in touch with god, you live life, help and inspire others just by being your Dorking self, you have more life in your heart and soul then most.
Aww, i'm sorry for you : ( But Keep in Mind that whatever happens in life, We're always be by your side, Kristie, and Jesus too. I am praying for you everyday. Be covered with God's blessings. ✌🏼❤
What an amazing app!! I don’t think I’ve ever ever commented on a sponsor etc before but as a nurse this is SO GOOD. I regularly tell patients to record appointments and that way they won’t forget everything the second they leave...so many people saying “it was a blur” it’s also a good idea to write down all the things you want answered because blanking out is so common. Since I’m a nurse I try to get to all appointments with loved ones who don’t have a medical background to both advocate and translator. As usual Kristie you share your stories with so much enthusiasm, I believe you are inspirational in your attitude and resilience. You are the definition of THRIVING. 🙏🏻
shit I just got out of the hospital due to a large blood clot in my whole left leg and a PE in my lungs that app would have been amazing a couple weeks ago.
God I though you were literally again amputating your amputated arm. Well I guess I got concerned that I got bamboozeled. 😅😂 None the less I pray for your safety and health and hope you will emerge strong. 🙏
Hi, you should remove some stump, that way your prosthesis would be at the same level as your real hand, you mentioned that you did not use your hand because it was too long with the coupling, you should take advantage and talk to your prosthetist to fix the stump at the perfect level for the attachment of a prosthesis
Looking at the thumbnail pic, I can tell exactly why. The old stump was way too long to fit on the standard flamethrower attachment and the non-standard compact model costs an arm and a leg.
You give me so much hope. I suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke because my surgeon overdosed me on my blood thinner I shouldn’t have been on. My left hand will never work again, and I also walj with a limp. They said I’d die but that was before my craniotomy. Age 19. I’m 22 now. Please keep making videos you are such an inspiration
Thank you for being open and telling your story. Granted, I don't have an amputation, but I have other trials that I am dealing with. So, thank you for reminding me that I am not the only person in the world with medical issues (and/or some loss in life). I've really had to FIGHT BACK to find myself again, because my life has changed ... and, it's SO HARD to get back to "The Normal Life" (if that goddamn is even possible, anymore).
I have been really lucky. I had my leg amputated when I was three. I had 1 revision when I was 10 and that was it. I'm 51 now. My amputation was preformed by *THE* top orthopedic surgeon in the country (world?) at the time, so that might have something to do with it. My case was even included in a text book he wrote! I know because in the section on pediatric amputation there was a picture of the post operative stump. I have a distinctive birthmark on my knee and that birthmark is in the picture.
Your very pretty and such an inspiration ...to people who need your advice. Attitude. Struggling with other problems.. God bless YOU AND THANK YOU 👏🏻🙏😇🙋🏻♀️

'Stump Specialist' You have THE best attitude!! First time watching and I'm hooked!! I had to jump 45 feet to the pavement because my apartment was on fire and I broke a lot of bones and lost some on the ground, yet it's not what happens to you in this world, it's how you handle it that makes who you are!! You are living proof :)
your so brave ❤️ ilysm! every time i see one of your videos i think how brave you are ❤️ your always smiling! i hope you keep that smile on your face :D don’t worry, you can always talk to us about anything, we’ll understand ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ eeee

Is this really a “re-amputation”? Cutting off part of an arm stump is an additional amputation - in a manner of speaking, but “re-amputation” makes it sound like the hand itself was removed a second time.
I can’t believe you lost your hand from grabbing a rope. I would never go water skiing, boating, go in a lake, river or an ocean. Nothing good comes from it.

If you get your nails done do you have to pay full price? Legitimately wondering
Riley Battin I have paid 1/2 except for 1 time.
This is the number 1 questioned I’m asked
@Hawaii Kidd it actually isn't a stupid question. I was born without my left hand and forearm. When I used to have fake nails that was the first thing people would ask. And if a nail place ever charged my full price I would go somewhere else.
Hawaii Kidd she was born without her left and forearm she still has her right hand

WHY ARE PEOPLE DISLIKING THIS SHE LOST HER GOD DAMN HAND!!
I believe coz of her other hand people disliked her.
Bots

I think it is because they are sad for her and don't like the fact she lost her hand.
i believe in you and i hope you have the best life you can possibly have!!!thank you for changing the world in your own special way thought inspiring everyone around you ….you really are a Godsend

That's crazy, hope you are doing better now.
Have a cybernetic hand installed. They have those available pretty advanced stuff.
Not only does she get it amputated once she gets it reamputated again!!! This shows she can handle anything
The weights photo of you using your arm like a barbell is SO FUNNY. It reminds me of those ring-tossing games. What a good sense of humor.
YES RING TOSS!!!
To future Q&A : are you ok when your friends making fun of your "left hand" ? Like : havent you forgot samething? Or you know this kind of jokes :)

“You have to find the light”. Are light switches in odd locations in people’s homes? I can always find the light where I live. Strange…
I hope you get better
You look 21
Have good luck with your second surgery, I am hearing your story about the accident from this VDO but you are looking good even sitting in front of the operation room.
What is your plan after the operation ⁉ You had a good mindset and are strong against feedback from an operation that is because everyone is afraid of it but you can go-though it and look like nothing happen when I can come back and live my life again.
Is this common with amputees or something? Footless jo just as this happen too? Like what?
Hope all is well ❤️ and goes well
I feel like the amputation community all needing revision this year just shows how weird and common it is at the same time.
Hi Kristie. How do you put your rings and jewelry on? Tyfs
Question... Do you get tired a lot from being an amputee?? I definitely get fatigue a lot, I have a below the knee amputation, and I still have a lot of pain too. I hardly use my prosthetic leg 🦿 cause I get tired and it's so so painful and so heavy 😞
What if I asked you to marry me. ?
Seriously.?
💍
I'm having a very bad time these days, thank you.
You need to contact Footless Jo!!! She JUST had her foot/leg re-amputated last week!!! It's been a bit of a rough-ride for her no matter how upbeat she is most of the time. Then again, it would be a rough ride for anyone come to think of it. Anyway, now I see a bunch of other people mentioned her too. Lol's. Glad things worked out for you. Yes we are good friends!
I also have two skull operations. first titanium plate. the second even bigger plate On the skull.
I had my right hand and forearm blown off and I'm still waiting for my court date as I was charged with a felony for blowing my body apart. Better luck in the future love.
Youre very lucky to have your prosthetics made in america, in englad they are barbaric & phehistoric, heavy & clumsy and i hate then, i cant afford private ones so i have to put up with their ancient prosthetics, you can never live anywhere near a normal life after being an amputee in Britain, it really su ks, it totally ruined my life & i just want to die.
It's good they were able to make what you have more usable.
It shows you go for the Right thing, not the easy thing. While you are very capable, folks would be great fools not to assist you any time possible. Any reason to be in your company would be welcome. There are fountains which are less bubbly and pleasant than a few minutes with you. This is a hard season for me, but you really brighten it Thanks for a great video
Who was your hand surgeon? (If you don’t feel comfortable sharing no worries whatsoever! I am only curious as I work for a very well known hand surgeon and he and I ran a hand surgeon course for 10 years
I friggin love you for your sound effects omg!! Come on!
Short statement, just glad all is well. Love you my Friend.
Did they do nerve rerouting for the new prosthetics coming out for public use in about 5 years? The type that let you move fingers with feeling pressure.
what a lovey dog my dog is white too her name is kobi she makes me laugh all the time
What I want to know is if you got it amputated up to right under the elbow and then you know how you can seperatly move that bottom part of your arm BC there's a joint there if you move that with your arm amputated right under the elbow you'd have tiny little moving stump wouldn't that look kinda funny
I SAW YOU IN DECEDENTS 3!!! YOU WERE GREAT!
So am I understanding this right; there wasn’t pain except for when she was working out?
My sister had a bad accident and broke her wrist really bad and she has acute compartmental syndrome..basically has to have surgery on all her nerves to restore blood flow to her arm . She still needs more surgery.
