Awesome work. There is a somewhat obscure mod from "Uncle_M" for a 1981 Firebird which would be a lot closer to what the cops were driving in the movie intro, but it doesn't come with a police skin, and it has a weaker engine (an entry level 305) than what the cops would probably have ordered. Oddly it also has a 3rd brake light that the real cars never had, but for anyone who cares, it's possible to change those things with some editing.
@@MorningNapalm The movie car also.... It was a "spoiler" that was integrated into the frame and met the U.S. bumper regulations. So, the ugly 5mph bumper you see on other Countachs wasn't required. Like the rear wing, it probably did nothing in the way of downforce. The front "spoiler" was to help non-U.S. cars meet the regulations so they could be imported. The movie car was one of these early models imported by Trevor Thomas.
It's an homage someone put together. What you call fake brought back nothing but some of the best memories growing up. I'm almost ashamed you're even a fan of the original. Go enjoy a good classic film and turn that frown upside down.
THIS IS AWSOME!!!!! Sent shivers up my spine

2 pretty looking chicks on the middle of the no ware!
That Lambo needs a front spoiler!
It's a bumper that just looks like a spoiler.
@@my1vice Not in the movie, they added an extra spoiler.
