Hi thank you for your video, but how did you remove the trim and not the steering wheel? I need to fit a steering wheel cover to mine and just need to remove the trim and not air bag or steering wheel.
Do you just need to pry it off from all around the trim? I'm scared of breaking it haha. I thought maybe you had to take the airbag off and everything.
I explain it at the beginning of the video, you need 2 plastic tools one to wedge it and one to pull. Check when I flip over the trim, you’ll be able to see where the clips are on the trim. Hope this helps.
There are two indents behind the wheel, but after trying for a long time, I gave up. I took the two screws out from both sides( the ones that you can actually see) then I used my plastic tools and took the trims off. Once you do that then you can actually see the Two screws all the way up inside the steering wheel. Hope this helps. Please let me know how it worked out, thanks.
My apologies, not screws inside the wheel, you are looking for the two pins that hold the air bag in place. It’s hard to hit that pin in the right angle in order to release the air bag.

Do not do this on any f30 with paddles. Access to the rear screws is not available and you will rip the plastic housing apart
Don't forget the 2 T20 Screws behind each switch!
They were T25 on mine. But yes, very important point.
