I was born in Yorkshire and would love to visit the Bronte country and other parts, but living overseas and being 88 years of age I will have to give them a miss. Fortunately, the various videos keep me up to date.
Congratulations on your 50th. I was visiting NYMR Pickering (& Grosmont, Goathland and Levisham stations) the very weekend before His Majesty The King arrived. What a wonderful world you have created and I hope to visit many more times.
One of my favourite preserved railways - was there this time last year enjoying the sight of a 9F setting off from Grosmount. And my wife enjoyed her trip back in 2016 - so much so I didn't get as much time at the open carriage door window as I'd have liked!! Congratulations on the half ton.
Excellent video. Congratulations to all the Staff and Volunteers of the railway for their hard work over the last 50 years. Better if it was Sir Nigel Gresley was hauling the Royal Train but never mind.
Congratulations from Oz 17000km away, as I've travelled on this a few years ago, along with a few other preserved railways in UK. An impressive preserved railway, with the ease of a connection from Grosmont to Darlington and beyond, as I used. I stayed in Whitby and joined NYMR there. Well done for HM The King to visit: he's doing very well in his first few months of reigning.
The fact he had flying Scotsman on the royal train is just great 😊
Lovely clip & many congratulations NYMR on your 50th anniversary, here's to many more🎉🎉
A Real Horner to have Royalty at the Railway
A very special day
Well done NYMR.....congrats to you all for 50 years of sterling work......now for another 50 years.....
Congratulations on your 50th anniversary! Having his royal highness to celebrate made it even more special.
It did indeed and thank you - here is to the next 50 years!
What a marvellous advert. Everybody make sure you come to all the Ridings of Yorkshire and spend your money. Thank you.
Second that :-) it is a must see part of the country!

Glad you like it!
@@NYMR Can't wait to hear an update on Piglet and Lucy!! 🫠
Lovely video
Thank you
It only makes sense to have the king travel behind Britains most famous Locomotive
It does indeed it was very fitting for the occasion!
@@NYMR also… I saw what happened to the Q6 on a video, it’s… horrifying to say the least
I suspect that our king is a bit of a railway enthusiast.
North Yorkshire Mo King Charles III LOVE LOUIS SHIRLEY
For me. 🙏 🌞💕
The Scotsman finally visits the ny&mr and with a royal train too
Surprised Piglet didn't stick his snout in😂
