That's a lot of Otto's! Congrats on sweeping it earlier than 320 cubes. I actually thought you had bad luck in this session, but actually not the case. My luck was stupid good for this event. Got each ship in consecutive multis. 30 pulls to be exact. Then, i finally got stephen potter and a copy of swiftsure in the wishing well on the first multi. Total expenditure of only 70 cubes with around 500 cubes left. Onward to 1000 cubes!
I love New Jersey's reference to the US Navy's ice cream barges. That's the sort of thing that brought me to the game in the first place and convinced me to buy the skin. Yup, just bought it for the historical references. Looove burying my face in historical references. If we follow the same pattern as previous years, the upcoming party dress skins will be the last ones to make it into the Black Friday sale. Anyone worried about their wallet can take their time. Azur Lane has been feast-or-famine this year, and I'm enjoying the hell out of this feast. My cubes and coins aren't - I hit pity for Bismarck. (I needed those coins - I have bulins to use!) Got 5 Regensburgs in the process, 2 Ottos, and 1 U-556 META. I don't know about those last two... Otto looks like she got a U-boat's art and U-556 META looks less like herself than any other META. But it's nice that you can MLB U-556 META with crystals that cost 2000 shop points each, and she seems to be quite strong. I'm also liking this treasure island thing. It's huge!

Blessed be Rnjesus. I'm at 400 cubes after clearing banner in 60 pulls. I swear, if I didn't have enough cubes to pity when NJ rerun hits, I was gonna quit lol. After the rerun, I'm screwed tho. Taiho skin looks amazing. NJ skin is great but will probably skip out on it cuz of feet. I like her oath skin decently enough that it won't be a hard miss. Gonna pick up Regensburg, Taiho, and maybe one more skin.
NJ’s skin feels to underwhelming when they literally love her! Rudenberg had a better skin tbh. NJ should have had a more animated and more detail on it.
Funny you got so many Otto's, I had the opposite. Soooo many Regensburgs. I got another one this morning. You did get Bismarck Zwei a lot earlier than I did though (had to go to 130/200), so congrats! And man, so many good swimsuits. Sadly, I did lose the skin gacha - there were a lot I wanted, but I got Manchester instead. Not a bad swimsuit by any means, but also not a girl I particularly care about much. I did pick up Otto asap, because the concept is funny and I love her personality so far (attempting to be smug and bratty, but too easily flustered, klutzy and stupid to pull it off). I gotta think about the others. Bismarck Zwei's is a big contender, but I really like Sakawa and Royal Fortune as well. As for the L2D's...hmm. Anchorage is probably my fave, but she's a PR ship, which means she's in the 'the heat death of the universe will happen faster' category of me getting her, so she's out. New Jersey...doesn't interest me that much. I actually like her bunny skin better. Regensburg is pretty hot, but I don't find her super interesting (I wish Otto got the L2D instead). And Taihou looks great, but I generally prefer to have one L2D per character, and I already have her Chinese Dress one, and I still like that one better. So we'll see, I guess.
Man, if only we'd each hit somewhere in the middle. But congratulations on your sweep! I do like Manchester's! Not quite as powerful as a lot of this set, but the competition is out of this world. We might get more of those EXP packs for PR so you can unlock Anchorage faster. Once they started putting those out, it really removed a lot of the grind from earlier PR batches.
Wow, Otto really likes you. Nice work on this one! For my part, 70 cubes netted me 3 Zweis (including copies on the 1st and 3rd multies), 3 Regens, and 1 Otto. Missed out on the .5% luck this go around, but I'll buy 556 in the shop if I don't get her with daily luck. I haven't picked up any skins yet, but I'll select a handful towards the end of the event. Unfortunately there are just too many and I'll have to grab the rest during their rerun. This patch has been great so far. Tons of content, and I'm really enjoying it. The island adventure is very similar to a previous FGO summer event.

For Taihou's bracelet interaction, if you tug on the string on the right side of her bikini (left side from our POV), you get a unique animation and the camera zooms out back to normal. Also, there is another unique interaction animation when you run across her right leg, just between her knee and calf.
We covered the bracelet interaction in the skin review video last week! Hmm, for the second interaction you list, isn't that what I show in this video, or is it something different?
@@GuardianEPlays In response of the first interaction I've mentioned, no, it wasn't shown in the video. The interaction is available after you tug her bracelet. When the camera closes in to Taihou's face, you can tug the right string of her bikini. She'll playfully wink and put her index finger over her lips, and then the camera will return to normal. As for the other interaction you're asking about (her right leg), that's also not shown in the video. That's all that was missed, but the cleavage part, I had no idea that was interactive. Good eyes. Nonetheless, this skin has the most interactive parts than any other L2D in the game. Yunsang is a madlad artist!
Ah, gotcha! I didn't capture the ending interaction to the close-up, so that was missing. I can't seem to get the second interaction you mention. I must be doing something wrong. Just run a finger across her right calf up and down? Could you describe what happens? Yunsang's attention to detail is incredible, and you know that he and the animators were just itching to release this to the masses. A true hero.
This banner was brutal for me....and it honestly seems like there's something weird going on. Almost everyone I've seen got TONS of copies of Otto von Alvensleben. It took me 540 cubes to clear the banner. I got that far before I got a single copy of Regensburg...and I stopped counting how many copies of Alvensleben after 20. Sometimes I was literally pulling 2-3 of her in a single 10 pull. At least I got three copies of Bismark Zwei along the way as well as the U-556 Meta. But anyway, at the very least the spicy, spicy skins make up for it.
I'm sorry this session was a bit rough. There have been a few commenters here who got a ton of Regensburg. I think it's just RNG being RNG. But drown the pain in those glorious skins!
Bruh... Sometimes you just gotta step away and swap to 3 a day to let the luck rebuild. There's been many events where after 100-150 pulls on day 1 and still missing a single ship, Ill get them from doing the dailies. *Knock on wood* I've never had to do a final day all in pull.

Ironblood simply has the best designs in Al. And yes! Northern Parliament has similar ones but doesn't come close to IB in my opinion. And Regensburg has the best design in this event and for me one of the best in Al. She should actually be the UR Ship
This banner. I will forever be thankful lol. I got Bismarck Zwei. In 54 pulls. Along with SSR Bismarck counterpart. My first ever UR is actually Bismarck. Man that feels amazing. Edit: I got everyone except U-556 Meta.. which, honestly I'm not too worried about it
I had what I believe to be my best ever day one pulls. First 10 got me Ravensburg, second 10 pull was dead, third got me Bismark, Otto and U-556. Job done. Now torn for my dailies between dupe hunting and the wishing well, as I have 5 ships left to get, 2 in special 3 in light.
100 pull with every ship include the meta which also has summon animation, and with enough copy to make the SR full limit break, Iron blood event the best! Also, they really make the IB ships more sexy than ever, i mean.......like really SPICY!
I got 4 Biskmarck Zweis, 2 Regensburg and no Otto Von Alvensleben for 45 pulls, VERY lucky but I still want to hit the less than 100 pulls banner clear. At least I needn't much UR bullins for this one event. Blessed be for Otto Von Alvensleben to grace my docks

Damn, having only enough gems for 2 skins is a torture. This event is the best on the skin department as far as I can remember, Taihou is a must but I cant decide between Jersey and Regensburg haha. I havent pulled Bismarck yet, but overall VERY happy with the event
Lol, I also kept getting Ottos, including a pair in a single 10-pull! Zwei hasn't come home for me yet, but I've more than enough cubes and gold to hit pity (I came into the summer season prepared :P). Also Ticonderoga hit my lucky bag too (and my friend's as well)! Not a jackpot, but definitely worth it, as I like it much better than her bunny skin. But yeah - a wonderously loaded skin drop today; I gotta say, the art team's really did awesome with the depth of field in Taihou's and Otto's skins - it gives a much more dynamic feeling to them. Anchorage was a really amazing surprise though - she was both cute And sexy (especially suggestive when she askes if you like touching - I DID NOT EXPECT THAT AT ALL lol): an astounding combination I've never had to priviledge to appreciate in a mature form factor, but have alas found a first in her. They've even gone and made her drop her top in the water. Man - add on the detailing as you mentioned, I just can't praise Manjuu enough for their work. The most surprising 9/10 for me. Taihou's was an expected knockout as well, but I was still blown away by the extreme mix of glamor and degeneracy - especially how she spreads her belly button during the intro scene and makes slight indentations in her belly as she points suggestively at it. A powerful 9/10 that just needs its unique dialogue now. The touch functions were harder to find this time around, but goddamn - they are next level indeed xD; so much thanks for sharing those! New Jersey's was a very well deserved L2D; though I would have wished for more, I'm still glad she got a really nice featured L2D skin at last, and it being a butt-primary skin. A high 8/10 imo. Regensburg's was the obvious jaw dropper that brought me to my knees - ripe for the lewd memes with that pose and those audacious lines; the zoom out killed me though xD. A solidly degenerate 9/10 for me - the only things missing among my list of hopes would've been interactivity and post processing effects, but it's already my easy favorite of the L2D batch. It's easily the one I spent the most time weebing out and sharing with my friends lol Anyways, as always my man - appreciate the in-depth skin reviews! No idea if Manjuu's got more in stock for us before the summer ends, but damn has it started off with a bang! \o/
Alvensleben stalking you as well! Good luck on the rest of your pulls, I do hope the Bismarck Zwei shows soon, but it always pays to be prepared like you are. This batch is seriously ridiculous. Not the largest batch, but one of the heaviest hitting we've seen in a very long time. Each of the L2Ds is just phenomenally detailed and wonderfully executed. Thanks for sharing! If they spent everything for summer in this batch, I honestly couldn't be mad. There were so many big wish skins that ended up being satisfied here!
It's a shame I preemptively decided not to buy skins this time around, because all of them are phenomenal. I hadn't imagined Taihou could be any more...pillowy than she already was, but here she is, just absolutely spilling out of the tiniest outfit yet. Royal Fortune's skin is also the best dynamic so far in my opinion, and I burst out laughing when I saw her wink and the tentacle tug at her top. Definitely picking up those two skins when they come around again.
I put my findings on your last video. Taihou’s right leg has a double animation. The left thin strap can be pulled to the left to exit the close up animation. The skin has loads of interactions.
I forgot to add. The point on the right leg or left, the way we see it, is to click on the knee and pull towards the bottom right corner. Hold for a couple seconds and she puts her hand between her thighs. The whole time her eyes are doing the yandere thing. Also, during the close up view from the bracelet, by using the left strap to exit the close up it triggers another animation.
@@GuardianEPlays you have to click then pull towards the bottom right corner. Hold for a second or two. She will just lower her leg. If you hold for a few more seconds, then she starts moving her legs back and forth and puts her hands between them. So, just the leg down for the first few seconds of holding and the extra lewdness happens if you hold it for longer. I would call that two interactions.
Great sweep on the banner, you needed it! Took me about 240 cubes to get Alvensleben but I picked up 3 Bismarck Zwei and 3 Regensburg along the way so not a bad haul for the price. I got Anchorage's skin from the lucky bag and picked up Bismarck's, Regensburg's and New Jerseys for now. The only one I'm not getting is Sakawa's, getting the rest tomorrow. Thank's for the video!
Finally an event with some top notch L2D and Dynamic skins! Definitely plan on getting the Bismarck, Taihou, and New Jersey skins, on the fence with the Anchorage and Regensburg skins since we have another batch of skins coming in a week or two, plus the oath ring two-pack. Haven't seen if there's any L2D or Dynamic among the upcoming concert skins. My only complaint is the background for Taihou should be the beach scene like it is for New Jersey instead of the pool side she got, it's not that big of a deal but just something I noticed that didn't make any sense.
Definitely an incredible set of skins! Not the largest they've ever released, but certainly one of the most impactful. For some reason CN doesn't tell us up front if they're L2D or dynamic, so we'll see the concert skin reveals trickle in over the next week or so! I didn't notice that Taihou background, hopefully they fix that in the future. It sounds like a mistake.
Thinking about it, this event feels like total redemption to ENs 4th Anniversary event. I remember that one being sooooo disappointing in soo many ways. Hyped up water park vacation theme and they executed on almost none of it... We received more sports festival skins than swimsuits, none of them were L2D. Hell pretty much none of the banner or girls in the PV even got skins lol. The campaign story was completely unrelated, gear skins made no sense... Just awful. Here we have damn near an identical theme, vacation at a tropical island with a concurrent IB campaign. The entire event is based around this vacation, except the primary campaign. But, most of the banner girls got themed skins, ALL the skins fit the theme, we got tons of L2Ds, the little Island map and interactions is great, the vacation side story is great, dorm and gear sets all fit... It's just great, I log and I feel like I wanna go chill by the beach and play AL. I love it so far! Hope they keep it up for EN 5th! Don't let me down!
I feel that they used the feedback they received on everyone really enjoying the Aterlier Ryza collab event and borrowed certain elements and features from that, incorporated more mini-games and unique pieces. For the skins, I gotta think that it's based on the survey feedback as well... and maybe also shifting priorities in trying to avoid the CCP spotlight. But totally agree with you, this feels like a large, well thought out sequence full of care. Personally, I'd temper expectations for the EN anniversary. The fact that we get 3 celebrated anniversaries in a row, there's likely to be a more lowkey one, and that's always going to be EN based on marketshare. I think it'll be very exciting, but probably not in the same league. CN and JP's anniversaries are celebrations for us too, which is something a little rare in mobile games.
I'm still unsure on the Bis2 skin, ngl, but man, couldn't pass up on NJ's, Taihou's and Anchorage's... and I even got Regensburg's from the Lucky Bag (which was also a skin I wanted). All in all this is the best batch this year so far for sure, and there's the "part 2" to drop with the party dresses too! Now... I got such a bad RNG on the gacha. 145 pulls in and no sight of Regensburg 😥, just a single Bis2 and 3-4 Ottos (which seem to be the easy to get ship this event - everywhere I look and everyone I talk with is full of her). Also got Amagi from the invitation cause she was the last one I was missing - and she's quite powerful still.
I see RNGesus has been good to you Brother for this Confluence of Naughtiness. I've been blessed by a Dragon and 3 DD already but I have yet to see the light of Bismark. As a sinner I understand I have to keep making offrandes and praying. Already the Iron Dragon and the Black Dragon received their almost birthday suit. Anchorage begged her sensei to get one so I did my duty but I fear others will disturb my penances... I try to hid from Taihou but she always find me and I know Royal Fortune is in the shadows somewhere... 😓🙏 (Yup this one event got me 😂)
It’s like the 7th time I’ve hit 1k saved cubes. Thought today was my day, got the UR and one of the gold in my first multi. Just to have it all end after 250 cubes to get the last damn gold ship. I don’t know why I even try anymore
As long as you're continuously building cubes, a milestone like 1000 cubes doesn't really mean much. You save up and prepare so that you have enough to spend in situations where RNG doesn't go your way. Be happy you have enough to carry you forward!

Dude... my first 10 pull had Zwei, Otto, and U-566 Meta! It took another 13 10ers to get Regen, though. 😅 These skins are amazing and I am going to have to buy at least a few. Interesting side note... you may have notices a strange purple-haired girl in some of the loading screens. It seems like she was a potential elite destroyer that maybe wasn't completed in time, and Otto, who looks like she was supposed to be a sub, was made a destroyer instead to replace the mystery shipgirl.
The event lasts three weeks this time, not two like usual, so if you do the dailies that's a bit more than 60 pulls, right? If you wanted to reach the pity with the dailies, you only needed to reach 140 pulls, not 160 :D... I got SUPER lucky and got every rate-up ships in just 30 pulls... and now I'm a bit conflicted about what to do. I started playing in January, so I'd like to expand my collection, however I'm not sure if I should keep doing the dailies on the even banner or maybe trying the wishing well to get some ships I am missing. I think I'll probably do a mix of both, like two pulls on the event and one on the wishing well. After all, while I did get the event ships, I'd like some copies for limit breaking since bullins are precious to me given that I have to limit break most ships yet. I do have 644 cubes too, but so I'm also not sure if just stick with the dailies or maybe go beyond a little bit too. I'll probably decide at the end of the event.
You're absolutely right! Miscalculation on my part. I'll probably stick to the 3 per day. Congrats on the sweep! I personally wouldn't pull for dupes as a new player, even if you're having issues with bulins now, it's not going to be forever. And a healthy stock of cubes really sets the stage for you to get hit by poor RNG a few times and still collect all ships. I'd do dailies on your Wishing well.
Find someone you really want in the wishing well and probably do dailies there. Maybe focus on heavy or special build since normal dailies is usually done on light. Not really worth it to spend outside of rate ups... Specially when a lot of good ships to find in war archives, shops or map drops.
Dear god Guardian, If Azur Lane ever hired you to do professional commentary of skins, their sales would triple! I was only banking on getting the Taihou, NJ and Resen skins before I watched this video.
i loved most of the skins, only skins i wasnt going to buy: Sakawa and Manchester. but i got Manchester in the Lucky Bag before i buyed all the skins. totally no luck this event too. spent all my 300 cubes for Bismarck 2. again at zero for NJ rerun :(

I was down to 120 coobs and managed to hit 252 before this event. Because I was trying to get Tartu and Nautilus (Got them btw im 100% now). And had huge luck on this banner. 56 coobs for all the ships. All of them.

God damn boy... This time gacha blessed me with everything i needed. Yesterday with 30 cubes I've got succubus lady, then I've got SSR destroyer and it's already 70 cubes. And then 10 cubes were used, (it was emount of 102 cubes and just 10 pull made my day truly blessed. It was 92 cubes)and BISMARCK ZWEI HERSELF shows up and my happiness cannot be described enough. FINALLY I'VE GOT LUCKY!!! And with this i used some cubes(I don't remember how much)with many coins and got META ship and i was like: "Wait what, I've got her already?!?!" and it was incredible... After I've got everyone from the banner i tried my luck on Wishing Well pulls and my god... It was truly magnificent... I wanted I-168 so much, she snatched away from me every time i wanted her, but this time i even don't know how to say... This time i even predicted this moment to come just by coincidence and after 2 10 pulls and 3 builds, on 24 build I've got 30 and i was like:"Wait a moment, if I am not mistaken, it can be gold ship, right??" And then my suffering was not gone in vain... IT WAS WORTH EVERY DAMN TIME, WHEN I WANTED TO GET HER!! I didnt know many of them so really grateful. 😭😭 Congrats on Bismarck zwei and Lucky bag skin (though like you said, you were gonna pick them anyway which i totally get you) I really really like Machester skin from the non live2d! It was unexpected to me! Props to the artist!!👏👏 This is really first time a whitewash skin buyout for me!!! Just out of this world all of them!!! Especially Taihou with a huge amount of interaction (personal bias involved). And what´s best is that, its not over yet! we still have concert skins, so looking forward to that and your review! Grats on your luck! by 40 pulls i had swept the banner. I decided to keep going to 160 ended up with 2 regensburg, 4 of otto, 2 u-556 and 4 bismarcks total! so for all the suffering we went though with implacable we lucked out in this one. great video as usual and all these skins are just too good!

Took me about 70 pulls to get everyone. Regensburg was my target. However I’m going pass on a lot of the skins yes even New Jersey’s. Only one I got is Regensburg’s and that was from lucky bag. (Still waiting for a certain Belfast skin rerun)
Apparently they added a LOT more interactions to NJ L2D in CN, we're expected to see them in our own update tomorrow? So you might want to give that skin a second pass tomorrow, maybe also in the new video?
Hyyyype! On the one hand, I wish they didn't stealth add interactions/animations since people might dismiss certain skins right away without another look. On the other hand, more animations/interactions is an amazing thing. Have they been posted anywhere, so I don't miss any?

Regensburg cost me 460 cubes, she made me suffer. But at least i got 5 copies of Bismarck Zwei, 4 of Otto and 2 of U-556 META, and for skins my priority was NJ and Bismarck Zwei. The skin of Taihou is tempting me but i'm low on cubes and the upcoming skin for Kaga in the Cruise pass is telling me to buy it.
You can use the dupe to limit break the first one. There's not a lot of reason to built up two, and as a newer player, you're not going to have immediate access to enough rainbow bulins. That said, if you're not in a rush, just hold onto both copies until you decide what you want to do. You can still level a non MLB UR up to 125.
I don't know how you do it! I've been trying for the last week to get her & you get her after how many pulls? Either I have to use up the remainign cubes I have or keep pressing my luck.
In the first 20 pulls I got Bismarck. Game trolling hard. Then in 30-40 I got Regensburg and Bismarck II. Thinking how awesome it would have been if I got all 3 in one 10-pull Otto appeared as pull 41. Game's trolling me hard! But being done so fast I don't mind (I'm sure no elites saved it). Then did a wishing well 10 pull, nothing so far. For skins I eye several. But waiting till next week to see if any partyskins are to my liking (I doubt it, but its possible), notbto mention get the new Cruise Pass and then calculate how many gems I got, how many I need, and what I'll sacrifice to Akashi then... A little note on U-556, like BismarckII, she only needs to be pulled for the frame. So as long as you take one copy, you're solid, then DO NOT get extra crystals from the shop but just use the META Shop, the most worthless shop ever added to the game. At least that way you'd still get some use out of the crystal shards :/ According to the JP patchnotes we're getting an event for 240 free shards as well, which is enough to get 3 "bullins" for her. So yeah save that 6000 event currency. While 160 makes sense for the 2 non-anni UR events, remember this IS an anni event, so the event's 3 weeks long, one more week of daily pulls. I don't think we really use "cleavage" to note a buttcrack 0_o That's a first. Seen the skin previews on the island today?

@@GuardianEPlays 1 pull per day doesn't give event currency for the daily, so yeah I wouldn't do that myself. On the island you can unlock those story segments with the skins. I think there was only one yesterday, but today we could unlock about five more (since finally enough resources for base lvl 3, should probably get lvl 4 tomorrow). Also interesting since I saw you comment to someone about Akagi sharing, and there's also a story about that accessible since today :)
It doesn't, though I still need to do a daily for the daily mission and light gives no chance of anything new. But I'll probably just splurge and overflow the pity anyway. Ah, gotcha, I'm was so behind on everything yesterday that I had to skip some of the later story with the goal of reading through the archive over the weekend. Seems like great minds think alike!

I found another interaction with Taihou’s skin that I didn’t know existed until today. This only works while she is your secretary. I couldn’t get it to work while viewing the archive. May also need to be oathed idk. Mine is oathed. Taihou’s left chest. Or right if as you look at it. From bottom to top following the bikini cup to strap. Press your finger and drag. She will rub her chest and then do the “shhhh” gesture. This makes me wonder if there are more interactions.
@@GuardianEPlays try just a quick swipe that seems to work better. I would say release about 3/4 of the way up the strap. And for lack of a better term. Start at the nipple and swipe up to about 3/4 of the strap and let go.

This game trolls me. I get godly luck with UR events. I got 3/4 of the rated up ships including the UR and 0.5% in the first multi. I got everyone under 100 pulls later. Now if this could apply to collab or regular banners then I would happy.
I had the same, Implacable killed my Cubes and i had to pitty, this time only 12 Pull for Bismarck, and I got spammed with Regensburg and only 1 copy of Otto

Funny how I made an alt account just so I could focus on IronBlood ships on the new server and then this event came out 😂 Regensburg skin was my favorite and I had 1.2k gems already from the story rewards... Easy purchase The thing is this alt acc is already looking better than my main lol. The live 2d skins from today out value so much those that are regularly in the shop.. I probably can farm another 1.2k gems for another skin, but I don't know if I use it now or wait for a future event. My wallet is more tight than those bikinis these days 😢
Love the video. I was able to get all 4 new ships from the banner including the rare 0.5% ship that is U-556 META! I had to do it! i bought all 11 SWIMSUIT SKINS!!!! I bought a ship of gems pack and the swimsuits lucky bag 2023 pack. My skin reward from the lucky bag was none other the Yandere known as TAIHOU! Geez the skins are just amazing. They are Beyond-God Tier level! All $110 worth it!
Imagine using 320 cubes to get all ships, well that happened to me, I'm pulling my hair that I have to get pity to get Yorktown II. This time luckily I got all gacha ships with 80 cubes.
Well, I chose to go up to the 320, I already had all the ships pretty early. But I did have to pity for Implacable. That's just RNG, everyone gets shafted at some point. But congrats on the sweep!
By far one of the best skin bunch and luckiest events for me, got bismarck zwei on my second pull and all the others in the ones after her, skins are all beautiful , pity that ill have to manage the gems but most of them are a must buy 100%

My luck was stupid good for this event. Got each ship in consecutive multis. 30 pulls to be exact. Then, i finally got stephen potter and a copy of swiftsure in the wishing well on the first multi. Total expenditure of only 70 cubes with around 500 cubes left. Onward to 1000 cubes!

Azur Lane has been feast-or-famine this year, and I'm enjoying the hell out of this feast. My cubes and coins aren't - I hit pity for Bismarck. (I needed those coins - I have bulins to use!) Got 5 Regensburgs in the process, 2 Ottos, and 1 U-556 META. I don't know about those last two... Otto looks like she got a U-boat's art and U-556 META looks less like herself than any other META. But it's nice that you can MLB U-556 META with crystals that cost 2000 shop points each, and she seems to be quite strong.
I'm also liking this treasure island thing. It's huge!

Taiho skin looks amazing. NJ skin is great but will probably skip out on it cuz of feet. I like her oath skin decently enough that it won't be a hard miss. Gonna pick up Regensburg, Taiho, and maybe one more skin.
NJ’s skin feels to underwhelming when they literally love her! Rudenberg had a better skin tbh. NJ should have had a more animated and more detail on it.

Funny you got so many Otto's, I had the opposite. Soooo many Regensburgs. I got another one this morning. You did get Bismarck Zwei a lot earlier than I did though (had to go to 130/200), so congrats!
And man, so many good swimsuits. Sadly, I did lose the skin gacha - there were a lot I wanted, but I got Manchester instead. Not a bad swimsuit by any means, but also not a girl I particularly care about much. I did pick up Otto asap, because the concept is funny and I love her personality so far (attempting to be smug and bratty, but too easily flustered, klutzy and stupid to pull it off). I gotta think about the others.
Bismarck Zwei's is a big contender, but I really like Sakawa and Royal Fortune as well. As for the L2D's...hmm. Anchorage is probably my fave, but she's a PR ship, which means she's in the 'the heat death of the universe will happen faster' category of me getting her, so she's out. New Jersey...doesn't interest me that much. I actually like her bunny skin better. Regensburg is pretty hot, but I don't find her super interesting (I wish Otto got the L2D instead). And Taihou looks great, but I generally prefer to have one L2D per character, and I already have her Chinese Dress one, and I still like that one better. So we'll see, I guess.

I do like Manchester's! Not quite as powerful as a lot of this set, but the competition is out of this world. We might get more of those EXP packs for PR so you can unlock Anchorage faster. Once they started putting those out, it really removed a lot of the grind from earlier PR batches.

For my part, 70 cubes netted me 3 Zweis (including copies on the 1st and 3rd multies), 3 Regens, and 1 Otto. Missed out on the .5% luck this go around, but I'll buy 556 in the shop if I don't get her with daily luck.
I haven't picked up any skins yet, but I'll select a handful towards the end of the event. Unfortunately there are just too many and I'll have to grab the rest during their rerun.
This patch has been great so far. Tons of content, and I'm really enjoying it. The island adventure is very similar to a previous FGO summer event.

The skin batch is just full of standouts, so it's tough choosing only a few. The island adventure totally reminded me of the FGO first summer event!
For Taihou's bracelet interaction, if you tug on the string on the right side of her bikini (left side from our POV), you get a unique animation and the camera zooms out back to normal.
Also, there is another unique interaction animation when you run across her right leg, just between her knee and calf.
We covered the bracelet interaction in the skin review video last week! Hmm, for the second interaction you list, isn't that what I show in this video, or is it something different?

The interaction is available after you tug her bracelet. When the camera closes in to Taihou's face, you can tug the right string of her bikini. She'll playfully wink and put her index finger over her lips, and then the camera will return to normal.
As for the other interaction you're asking about (her right leg), that's also not shown in the video.
That's all that was missed, but the cleavage part, I had no idea that was interactive. Good eyes.
Nonetheless, this skin has the most interactive parts than any other L2D in the game. Yunsang is a madlad artist!

This banner was brutal for me....and it honestly seems like there's something weird going on. Almost everyone I've seen got TONS of copies of Otto von Alvensleben. It took me 540 cubes to clear the banner. I got that far before I got a single copy of Regensburg...and I stopped counting how many copies of Alvensleben after 20. Sometimes I was literally pulling 2-3 of her in a single 10 pull. At least I got three copies of Bismark Zwei along the way as well as the U-556 Meta. But anyway, at the very least the spicy, spicy skins make up for it.
I'm sorry this session was a bit rough. There have been a few commenters here who got a ton of Regensburg. I think it's just RNG being RNG. But drown the pain in those glorious skins!

There's been many events where after 100-150 pulls on day 1 and still missing a single ship, Ill get them from doing the dailies.

Lol, I also kept getting Ottos, including a pair in a single 10-pull! Zwei hasn't come home for me yet, but I've more than enough cubes and gold to hit pity (I came into the summer season prepared :P). Also Ticonderoga hit my lucky bag too (and my friend's as well)! Not a jackpot, but definitely worth it, as I like it much better than her bunny skin.
But yeah - a wonderously loaded skin drop today; I gotta say, the art team's really did awesome with the depth of field in Taihou's and Otto's skins - it gives a much more dynamic feeling to them.
Anchorage was a really amazing surprise though - she was both cute And sexy (especially suggestive when she askes if you like touching - I DID NOT EXPECT THAT AT ALL lol): an astounding combination I've never had to priviledge to appreciate in a mature form factor, but have alas found a first in her. They've even gone and made her drop her top in the water. Man - add on the detailing as you mentioned, I just can't praise Manjuu enough for their work. The most surprising 9/10 for me.
Taihou's was an expected knockout as well, but I was still blown away by the extreme mix of glamor and degeneracy - especially how she spreads her belly button during the intro scene and makes slight indentations in her belly as she points suggestively at it. A powerful 9/10 that just needs its unique dialogue now. The touch functions were harder to find this time around, but goddamn - they are next level indeed xD; so much thanks for sharing those!
New Jersey's was a very well deserved L2D; though I would have wished for more, I'm still glad she got a really nice featured L2D skin at last, and it being a butt-primary skin. A high 8/10 imo.
Regensburg's was the obvious jaw dropper that brought me to my knees - ripe for the lewd memes with that pose and those audacious lines; the zoom out killed me though xD. A solidly degenerate 9/10 for me - the only things missing among my list of hopes would've been interactivity and post processing effects, but it's already my easy favorite of the L2D batch. It's easily the one I spent the most time weebing out and sharing with my friends lol
Anyways, as always my man - appreciate the in-depth skin reviews! No idea if Manjuu's got more in stock for us before the summer ends, but damn has it started off with a bang! \o/

This batch is seriously ridiculous. Not the largest batch, but one of the heaviest hitting we've seen in a very long time. Each of the L2Ds is just phenomenally detailed and wonderfully executed.
Thanks for sharing! If they spent everything for summer in this batch, I honestly couldn't be mad. There were so many big wish skins that ended up being satisfied here!
It's a shame I preemptively decided not to buy skins this time around, because all of them are phenomenal. I hadn't imagined Taihou could be any more...pillowy than she already was, but here she is, just absolutely spilling out of the tiniest outfit yet. Royal Fortune's skin is also the best dynamic so far in my opinion, and I burst out laughing when I saw her wink and the tentacle tug at her top. Definitely picking up those two skins when they come around again.
Well, they're both definitely worth picking up on the rebound, if not this time!

I put my findings on your last video. Taihou’s right leg has a double animation. The left thin strap can be pulled to the left to exit the close up animation. The skin has loads of interactions.
I forgot to add. The point on the right leg or left, the way we see it, is to click on the knee and pull towards the bottom right corner. Hold for a couple seconds and she puts her hand between her thighs. The whole time her eyes are doing the yandere thing.
Also, during the close up view from the bracelet, by using the left strap to exit the close up it triggers another animation.

If you hold for a few more seconds, then she starts moving her legs back and forth and puts her hands between them. So, just the leg down for the first few seconds of holding and the extra lewdness happens if you hold it for longer. I would call that two interactions.

Haven't seen if there's any L2D or Dynamic among the upcoming concert skins. My only complaint is the background for Taihou should be the beach scene like it is for New Jersey instead of the pool side she got, it's not that big of a deal but just something I noticed that didn't make any sense.
Definitely an incredible set of skins! Not the largest they've ever released, but certainly one of the most impactful. For some reason CN doesn't tell us up front if they're L2D or dynamic, so we'll see the concert skin reveals trickle in over the next week or so!
I didn't notice that Taihou background, hopefully they fix that in the future. It sounds like a mistake.
Thinking about it, this event feels like total redemption to ENs 4th Anniversary event.
I remember that one being sooooo disappointing in soo many ways. Hyped up water park vacation theme and they executed on almost none of it... We received more sports festival skins than swimsuits, none of them were L2D. Hell pretty much none of the banner or girls in the PV even got skins lol. The campaign story was completely unrelated, gear skins made no sense... Just awful.
Here we have damn near an identical theme, vacation at a tropical island with a concurrent IB campaign.
The entire event is based around this vacation, except the primary campaign. But, most of the banner girls got themed skins, ALL the skins fit the theme, we got tons of L2Ds, the little Island map and interactions is great, the vacation side story is great, dorm and gear sets all fit... It's just great, I log and I feel like I wanna go chill by the beach and play AL. I love it so far!
Hope they keep it up for EN 5th! Don't let me down!
I feel that they used the feedback they received on everyone really enjoying the Aterlier Ryza collab event and borrowed certain elements and features from that, incorporated more mini-games and unique pieces. For the skins, I gotta think that it's based on the survey feedback as well... and maybe also shifting priorities in trying to avoid the CCP spotlight.
But totally agree with you, this feels like a large, well thought out sequence full of care.
Personally, I'd temper expectations for the EN anniversary. The fact that we get 3 celebrated anniversaries in a row, there's likely to be a more lowkey one, and that's always going to be EN based on marketshare. I think it'll be very exciting, but probably not in the same league. CN and JP's anniversaries are celebrations for us too, which is something a little rare in mobile games.
I'm still unsure on the Bis2 skin, ngl, but man, couldn't pass up on NJ's, Taihou's and Anchorage's... and I even got Regensburg's from the Lucky Bag (which was also a skin I wanted). All in all this is the best batch this year so far for sure, and there's the "part 2" to drop with the party dresses too!
Now... I got such a bad RNG on the gacha. 145 pulls in and no sight of Regensburg 😥, just a single Bis2 and 3-4 Ottos (which seem to be the easy to get ship this event - everywhere I look and everyone I talk with is full of her).
Also got Amagi from the invitation cause she was the last one I was missing - and she's quite powerful still.
It's the other way for me - 3 Regens, no Ottos in sight, 120 pulls in. Hope you get yours sooner than late!
Definitely some excellent skin pickups! Good luck on Regensburg! She was surprisingly sparse for me too.

As a sinner I understand I have to keep making offrandes and praying. Already the Iron Dragon and the Black Dragon received their almost birthday suit. Anchorage begged her sensei to get one so I did my duty but I fear others will disturb my penances... It’s like the 7th time I’ve hit 1k saved cubes. Thought today was my day, got the UR and one of the gold in my first multi. Just to have it all end after 250 cubes to get the last damn gold ship. I don’t know why I even try anymore
As long as you're continuously building cubes, a milestone like 1000 cubes doesn't really mean much. You save up and prepare so that you have enough to spend in situations where RNG doesn't go your way. Be happy you have enough to carry you forward!

Dude... my first 10 pull had Zwei, Otto, and U-566 Meta! It took another 13 10ers to get Regen, though. 😅 These skins are amazing and I am going to have to buy at least a few. Interesting side note... you may have notices a strange purple-haired girl in some of the loading screens. It seems like she was a potential elite destroyer that maybe wasn't completed in time, and Otto, who looks like she was supposed to be a sub, was made a destroyer instead to replace the mystery shipgirl.

The event lasts three weeks this time, not two like usual, so if you do the dailies that's a bit more than 60 pulls, right? If you wanted to reach the pity with the dailies, you only needed to reach 140 pulls, not 160 :D...
I got SUPER lucky and got every rate-up ships in just 30 pulls... and now I'm a bit conflicted about what to do. I started playing in January, so I'd like to expand my collection, however I'm not sure if I should keep doing the dailies on the even banner or maybe trying the wishing well to get some ships I am missing. I think I'll probably do a mix of both, like two pulls on the event and one on the wishing well. After all, while I did get the event ships, I'd like some copies for limit breaking since bullins are precious to me given that I have to limit break most ships yet. I do have 644 cubes too, but so I'm also not sure if just stick with the dailies or maybe go beyond a little bit too. I'll probably decide at the end of the event.

Congrats on the sweep! I personally wouldn't pull for dupes as a new player, even if you're having issues with bulins now, it's not going to be forever. And a healthy stock of cubes really sets the stage for you to get hit by poor RNG a few times and still collect all ships. I'd do dailies on your Wishing well.
Find someone you really want in the wishing well and probably do dailies there.
Maybe focus on heavy or special build since normal dailies is usually done on light.
Not really worth it to spend outside of rate ups... Specially when a lot of good ships to find in war archives, shops or map drops.

I was down to 120 coobs and managed to hit 252 before this event. Because I was trying to get Tartu and Nautilus (Got them btw im 100% now).

God damn boy... This time gacha blessed me with everything i needed. Yesterday with 30 cubes I've got succubus lady, then I've got SSR destroyer and it's already 70 cubes. And then 10 cubes were used, (it was emount of 102 cubes and just 10 pull made my day truly blessed. It was 92 cubes)and BISMARCK ZWEI HERSELF shows up and my happiness cannot be described enough. FINALLY I'VE GOT LUCKY!!! And with this i used some cubes(I don't remember how much)with many coins and got META ship and i was like: "Wait what, I've got her already?!?!" and it was incredible... After I've got everyone from the banner i tried my luck on Wishing Well pulls and my god... It was truly magnificent... I wanted I-168 so much, she snatched away from me every time i wanted her, but this time i even don't know how to say... This time i even predicted this moment to come just by coincidence and after 2 10 pulls and 3 builds, on 24 build I've got 30 and i was like:"Wait a moment, if I am not mistaken, it can be gold ship, right??" Regensburg cost me 460 cubes, she made me suffer. But at least i got 5 copies of Bismarck Zwei, 4 of Otto and 2 of U-556 META, and for skins my priority was NJ and Bismarck Zwei. The skin of Taihou is tempting me but i'm low on cubes and the upcoming skin for Kaga in the Cruise pass is telling me to buy it.

You can use the dupe to limit break the first one. There's not a lot of reason to built up two, and as a newer player, you're not going to have immediate access to enough rainbow bulins. That said, if you're not in a rush, just hold onto both copies until you decide what you want to do. You can still level a non MLB UR up to 125.
I don't know how you do it! I've been trying for the last week to get her & you get her after how many pulls? Either I have to use up the remainign cubes I have or keep pressing my luck.
Good luck, it's all just RNG! Stick to daily pulls on the event banner for the most efficient pulling strategy.
I got extremely lucky. 20 pulls (40 cubes) to get Otto, Regensburg, and Bismarck (3 of her even!).

In the first 20 pulls I got Bismarck. Game trolling hard.
Then in 30-40 I got Regensburg and Bismarck II. Thinking how awesome it would have been if I got all 3 in one 10-pull Otto appeared as pull 41. Game's trolling me hard! But being done so fast I don't mind (I'm sure no elites saved it).
Then did a wishing well 10 pull, nothing so far.
For skins I eye several. But waiting till next week to see if any partyskins are to my liking (I doubt it, but its possible), notbto mention get the new Cruise Pass and then calculate how many gems I got, how many I need, and what I'll sacrifice to Akashi then...
A little note on U-556, like BismarckII, she only needs to be pulled for the frame. So as long as you take one copy, you're solid, then DO NOT get extra crystals from the shop but just use the META Shop, the most worthless shop ever added to the game. At least that way you'd still get some use out of the crystal shards :/ According to the JP patchnotes we're getting an event for 240 free shards as well, which is enough to get 3 "bullins" for her. So yeah save that 6000 event currency.
While 160 makes sense for the 2 non-anni UR events, remember this IS an anni event, so the event's 3 weeks long, one more week of daily pulls.
I don't think we really use "cleavage" to note a buttcrack 0_o That's a first.

On the island you can unlock those story segments with the skins. I think there was only one yesterday, but today we could unlock about five more (since finally enough resources for base lvl 3, should probably get lvl 4 tomorrow).
Also interesting since I saw you comment to someone about Akagi sharing, and there's also a story about that accessible since today :)
It doesn't, though I still need to do a daily for the daily mission and light gives no chance of anything new. But I'll probably just splurge and overflow the pity anyway.

Welcome to the game! So the skins should return around Black Friday (November) of this year for a rerun. As for the ships, we may not see them for up to 1.5 years... they've been trying to make reruns more frequent, so it could be quite a bit sooner than that, but we'll have to see.

I found another interaction with Taihou’s skin that I didn’t know existed until today. This only works while she is your secretary. I couldn’t get it to work while viewing the archive. May also need to be oathed idk. Mine is oathed.
Taihou’s left chest. Or right if as you look at it. From bottom to top following the bikini cup to strap. Press your finger and drag. She will rub her chest and then do the “shhhh” gesture. This makes me wonder if there are more interactions.
Hm, I'm not able to replicate this, and I have Taihou oathed. Where do you release the press? How far up the strap do you go?
@@GuardianEPlays try just a quick swipe that seems to work better. I would say release about 3/4 of the way up the strap. And for lack of a better term. Start at the nipple and swipe up to about 3/4 of the strap and let go.

In 15 pulls, I got all but Meta U-566. Otto cuteness was the most to appear as she says, Bismarck Zwei was nice on the 4th pull but Reg was the hardest

Funny how I made an alt account just so I could focus on IronBlood ships on the new server and then this event came out 😂 Regensburg skin was my favorite and I had 1.2k gems already from the story rewards... Easy purchase
The thing is this alt acc is already looking better than my main lol. The live 2d skins from today out value so much those that are regularly in the shop.. I probably can farm another 1.2k gems for another skin, but I don't know if I use it now or wait for a future event. My wallet is more tight than those bikinis these days 😢

Love the video. I was able to get all 4 new ships from the banner including the rare 0.5% ship that is U-556 META! I had to do it! i bought all 11 SWIMSUIT SKINS!!!! I bought a ship of gems pack and the swimsuits lucky bag 2023 pack. My skin reward from the lucky bag was none other the Yandere known as TAIHOU! Geez the skins are just amazing. They are Beyond-God Tier level! All $110 worth it!

A little sad taihou didn't get unique voicelines with her swimsuit skin. Other than that this batch of skins was nothing but net for yostar
True, I would have loved to have her voicelines on release, but I'm fine with them adding them afterwards, the skin is craaaazy good.
Imagine using 320 cubes to get all ships, well that happened to me, I'm pulling my hair that I have to get pity to get Yorktown II. This time luckily I got all gacha ships with 80 cubes.
Well, I chose to go up to the 320, I already had all the ships pretty early. But I did have to pity for Implacable. That's just RNG, everyone gets shafted at some point. But congrats on the sweep!

By far one of the best skin bunch and luckiest events for me, got bismarck zwei on my second pull and all the others in the ones after her, skins are all beautiful , pity that ill have to manage the gems but most of them are a must buy 100%

Arg, yeah, that pity is really critical, but you can easily get coins back through story farming.
