Took 110 cubes to get my first Guam at #105. In the process, l also received:
2 x Flasher, at #4 and #34
5 x San Jacinto (#5, 21, 40, 41, and 102)
2 x Constellation (#63 and 103)
plus KGV and Kaga (BB) for off-banner golds (I've already got both).
The Lucky Bag gave me Constellation's bunny skin, which is fine-possibly the best of the batch in many ways. Happy with my day one activity, and thank you for the video as always!

I was lucky in this event too. I did the sweep with 80~ cubes and I got two Guam. I'm so happy, I'm used to hit the pity in every non Eagle Union UR events but apparently, my luck gets a buff in Eagle Union UR events and I get all the ships easily (I swept York2 banner with 40 cubes and now 80 cubes). I'm sure Eagle Union girls loves me so much :D

I got 3 copies of Guam, 5 San Jacinto, 2 Flasher and 1 Constellation. And to celebrate a Blonde girl's arrival, I bought the bunny skin of Guam and Constellation.
Can't complain when you got the whole Eagle bakery at the ports. All I can say is just cowabunga and yee haw like a cowboy.

I honestly expected to not get Guam at all. And she was my first pull. Took 20 pulls to get constellation. Still didn't get flash. Got Toma instead

Same here to, wasted 400 cubes for those 3 event ships and not a single Guam, nope she had to come from the garanti pulls, so this event was huge 'middle finger' and 'big screw you' event to me

The gacha rolls are a blessing and an expected curse for the end of the year. Managed to get Constellation, San Jacinto, and Flasher in my first 30 pulls. And then got enough copies of Constellation and San Jacinto to Max LB them by 100 pulls. And then I ran out of money with Guam still evading me. I will be ready to go to pity to get her, and then grab that gift bag and make Guam become the new Uncle Sam, bunny showgirl motivator.

I'm just coming here to both mine my salt for likes and to advocate for being diligent in your cube saving efforts.
40 Builds in, I had Flasher, Guam and San Jacinto.
Constellation was Build 314, 560 Cubes just for her.
8 Guam builds, 4 Flashers and 18 other SSRs.
0.17% chance to not get a 2% ship in 314 builds. Sometimes fringe cases really are real.
This is why you need to save up, because I know that unlike me, quite a few people would have failed here.
The worst part was having to rotate my fleets to triple farm with the 2x item on 12-4 for coins. 480k coins doesn't come from nowhere.
But oh well, still got 2740 Cubes anyway. :V
Preparation>Luck any day of the week. I've advocated that people prepare even when they've never had any bad luck (especially if they haven't), and just save where they can. Because even with that small percentage of fail - it's gotta happen to some group. And with a playerbase this large, that percent isn't that small.
But I'm glad that you were ready and able to challenge and clear everyone despite the adversiy. Congrats!
My GOD that 2nd multi though! And I thought my luck on getting Flasher on my own 2nd multi was already insane, lol.
Also as a mecha fan I really like Guam's rigging. It does not help that it was VERY similar looking to Prov PAW2, a mech from the game Front Mission 3 that I regularly use, just with its torso swapped with a turret.
Guam's rigging is sweet! Definitely a lot more fleshed out than most dynamic skin riggings. Congrats on your haul!

Amazing skin review, I don't normally buy skins like Flasher but your coverage makes her cuteness tempting to have in port.
Thank you~! You know, that feels like it happens when I watch pull videos too. I guess it's just that there's always a balance, so when you see people get amazing luck, it feels like there's a greater chance for you to get screwed because the bad RNG has gotta go somewhere.

Sometimes when my summoning pulls are going completely side ways I've found that if i stop pulling for a few days at least, ( I usually stop for 5 days but that's just me being paranoid lol ) then i have a second go at summoning my fortunes drastically turn around. I've noticed that pretty consistently in all day one or two of an event summoning vids that are posted on UA-cam, that it's almost always the same off banner ship girls that turn up. But when i come back to things a number of days later i get a completely different batch of off banner ship girls turning up. Take this with a grain of salt though as I don't know of anyone else who has done this but it's worked every time I've given it a go. All the best to you in your future summons and i hope your fortune turns around.
PS I've seen Gardian E have a few horror summoning sessions as well. One of them was not that long ago if i remember correctly. Lady luck sometimes is all in or all out on us sometimes 😊

I'm at 140 pulls out of the 200 and Guams being pretty stubborn. Aside from her, i got flasher, 3 constellations, and 2 San Jacinto before I ran out of coin.

I wasn't expecting much by reading the names seeing WAS believing and since its Christmas I ended up buying the 2024 pack, and using the gems to buy Guam's bunny outfit, the first outfit I bought...and then immediately after spent the remaining on Enterprise's Windcatcher outfit...because she is Enterprise and she is my queen lol...as happy as I am I STILL want New Jersey so I can get her and her costume too one day (late player here)

That 2nd multi might have been the luckiest thing I’ve ever seen
It may have been my best multi ever in Azur Lane
This event was literally anxiety for me.
Long story short, started with 300 cubes and got Flasher (0.5%) in the first 10 pull.
I pulled San Jacinto in my second or third 10 pull along with Guam, then things got crazy.
I could not for the life of me get Constellation until I dried down to 50 cubes while pulling 2 more Flashers, San Jacinto and even 2 more Guam's!
Like how do I get in total 3 duplicates of every ship including the UR and 1 copy of Constellation?? ( I was really losing it)
Nevertheless I'm really lucky but damnn I was screaming internally.

Having watched your Camilla summoning sessions just before this, I guess this session ate up all your luck. That one pull with San Jacinto, Flasher and *two* Guams, holy moly. Meanwhile all I've got are eight million San Jacinto's and a single Constellation while I'm 180/200 now. Meh.
Skins are nice, though. I'm going to see what I'll get from the gacha bag tomorrow first, but I'm tempted to get the L2D's, Louisville, Constellation, Clevebro and/or San Jacinto's myself (though maybe not all at once, it's not like they're limited). I do love my bunny girls.
Yeah, to be fair, Azur Lane, Nikke, Brown Dust 2, BBS... I've been getting really fortunate pulls in a row, which meant there was going to be a comeuppance at some point. Which is why I was so concerns about Legendary Camilla's banner timing. It is what it is.

Pretty nice rolls! I had okay-ish luck with a Guam at pull 37 and a handful of the SSRs. Jacinto was a pain though, took until 132/200 and a small coin farm break. Damn elites.
Guam bunny skin ENGAGE! I would be interested in seeing the Houston II skin sales numbers. I bet very few of the overall playerbase even has her yet.

I'm sure you're right about Houston II. They did a similar thing with Bunker Hill, and then New Orleans as well. Guam's is definitely worth a closer look!
I purchased all wave 1 skins. I got destroyed in the banner. It took me 184 pulls to have the UR ship drop for me but thankfully I was able to sweep the banner including getting the 0.5% drop ship TWICE! Merry Christmas GuardianE.

My luck on the banner was practically the opposite of your luck. Got a Guam and Constellation in 150 pulls and still hunting for the elusive elite. I love almost all of the skins and I'm debating which ones to get out of Guam, Laffey, and Cleveland while also keeping enough gems for both the next batch and the oath rings. For me, Guam was the easy part. I got her 4 times along with multiple copies of San Jacinto... it was Constellation that didn't show up until pull 180 for me, Constellation was the true UR of the event for real. 😅
USS is usually my lucky faction for both events and story mode (I got New Orleans before 14-4 hit safe mode and I got Houston II on the second 15-4 clear lmao) and in comparison to every other faction's events it still is, but I was still secretly hoping for an easier banner sweep than what I got. 😂 I was actually prepared in terms of coins for once so at least I was able to zoom through pulls.
And considering it's Christmas time, I'm definitely going to treat myself to some skins. I immediately bought the lucky bag and got the Houston II skin haha, others I'll be buying are both the URs, Constellation and Louisville skins, still on a maybe for the other two event ships. When the second batch drops, I'm getting the Kearsarge and Shimanto skins, they're easily my favorites out of PR6.

I need building like you got right here. I've seen so many alerts with players scoring event SSR/UR back to back... not much like that for me. O.O NOW... Guam appeared to me on Build #7, with San Jacinto at #9, so that's nice. San Jacinto X2 for day one. Constellation arrived on day 2 around the 40th build (Now X2), Louisville already done with points and instead of building, Flasher dropped on my very first run through SP on Friday night. Now just grabbing points for Laffey II. I haven't enjoyed building very much this year, but this was a good first couple of days. Still haven't done a banner sweep on Day 1, though. O.O Happy grinding! Look at all those nice skins to get.... and the upcoming Kearsarge/Hindenburg.... Yes, please!

She took me to pity. Always sours starting an event like this but I was ready for it. Even after the pity I have 1400+ cubes and 150k coins. I expect it at this point. I've pitied more URs than not to date.
I know it sucks, but the important thing is that you were ready for it. It pays to be prepared. It'll all balance out for you over time. It's a reassurance that probably feels empty, but it really is true.

This is my first UR banner and I got no UR in 90 pulls, is this normal? From what I see in UA-cam it seems terribly unlucky

I'm sorry to hear that's happened, but it is normal. At the 1.2% UR rate, 30% of players will be 100 pulls with no UR.
Even with decent rates, it just happens to all of us at some point. I've had to go beyond 200 pulls to get event some SRs before. Over time, we all hit the full range of RNG. That said, best of luck, I'd stick to 3 pulls per day over the next few weeks to maximize your pulls, then splurge on the final days as necessary.
Got everyone except Flasher at 40 pulls. Real happy!

Guam on the second pull of my first 10 build was nuts. Though I have more than enough cubes to just brute force URs if I wanted, so it's actually the lower rarity stuff I have to stress over in my pulls. It's amazing how often Elite ships have given me fits, though my luck's been decent with that for the later part of this year so I'm hopeful things will go well.

I don't quite know how you do it Gardian E but i was originally only planning on getting the Guam and and Cleveland skins. I got Gaum as my free pull, yyyaaahhh there for that bonus. Suddenly after listening to you talk about the skins i couldn't help falling in love almost all of them. I've gotten the Constellation, Laffey, Louisville and Z35 skins now as well lol.The Constellation skin was one i absolutely didn't like at all originally but after you had finished talking about how incredible she was i was left scratching my head wondering why i hadn't noticed how truly amazing she looks. This may be my worst banner ever. While I did get Guam at 90 pulls I’m currently at 140 pulls and only that one copy nothing else and I’m out of coins 😢
I'm sorry, I hope your luck turns around quickly and you sweep the others. I'd say to just take it a day at a time, go for your 3X per day, and hopefully the others show in your pulls.

Got the three event ships in 20 pulls and then got Guam in 106 pulls. For no real Eason I later did another 20 pulls and I got two more Guam and one Flasher. I also like you got a Kaga(BB) which is great cause I didn’t have her. Congrats on all the copies!

With more recent L2D skins I could easily find 3 to 4 interactions without looking them up. I hope they are just more well hidden here or they add more later
Ohhh, I gotcha! Yes, I also wish there were more interactions with Guam's outfit. Manjuu/Yostar have patched in additional L2D interactions shortly after release before, so it is possible. 🤞

I ended up with a banner sweep in about 65 builds. I bought the gift box and it gave me the skin for Flasher. Then I bought the skins for Guam and Laffey with it. I don't mind getting the gift box or the pass since the game is pretty nice to me when summoning.
