One thing that I really love about Kerry, outside of her acting, is her genuine comfort with herself. I have the same frame/body weight. It's refreshing that she hasn't caved into pressure to get breast augmentation. Implants are often pushed on those of us with smaller breasts, so it's nice that some people in the spot light, like Kerry have opted to simply embrace and love their natural body type.
Love this hair and outfit on her . She's stunning regardless , but it's really different to see her in all black , something really sassy / sexy about it 😍💁🏽 can't believe scandal has been on for 7 years . So going to miss this
JJ L well... I think she meant it as a reference to the NFL players taking a knee to the national anthem... Well... If it was not, then she let go of a perfectly good opportunity... And I would feel really stupid... P.s. I know it's not a "joke" joke... She just seemed excited to say it....
She should have pulled a Sarah Jessica Parker and written it into her contract that she could keep the wardrobe (or at least some of it)... Especially once the show started getting popular!
I love how Kerry used the term "Black," instead of African American. As a Black woman, I really dislike the term "African American.." It sounds so foreign. I'd prefer to be called simply American. If one has to use race --just state "Black."
@@Mary2020VA It was invented by academicians that is why it does not sound true. It did not come up through grass roots efforts. I was raised in Bed Stuy Brooklyn where it was OK to say "Black". In fact" Black was Beautiful" when I was growing up. I never liked using the term african american either.
Ok so, just a thought. If things are better for black people in tv shows, lets not make a point out of it all the time. Bringing up skin colour at every oppertunity really puts the breaks on getting beyond it.
There hadn't been a show led by a black woman for 40 years. That's a BIG deal. And this show is recent. Face up to the fact that we need to talk about race every single day, because our society is still very prejudiced.
My point being, that everyone mentioning race is making me think of race. You cannot legislate or chastise race prejudice out of people. The solution is to ignore race. It may be that attitudes take 50 or 100 years to mellow out, but its better than pointing fingers and fermenting your own opposition and prolonging racism for centuries more/
